AI Driver stuck in second Gear sometimes

Hi guys i m having a blast with f1 2016, like i didnt have since f1 2010.

Found something, sometimes (i dont know if it is after an incident or not), AI cars (i only saw it 2 times in career mode) got stuck in second gear like it has the pit limiter on, now one would assume this is a mech failure, but the driver does not pit at all and keeps laping at 80 kmph.
Now here is where it gets tricky, if i accelerate practice That car goes to nominal pace, and if i resume normal timming goes back to 2 gear....

I think a fix is mandatory here guys
