Few questions about tyre wear and track grip.

Hello guys.

Was wondering if theres difference between tyre wear when you drive out from pit and when you do flying lap. Do you suffer more wear from flying lap than driving out yourself and warming first lap? Also should you drive pack to pit or just return to carage and skip.

2nd question goes for tracks. When you finish p1. Do the track stay warm for next sessions trough all practices and qualifys to race? Or does it always reset between sessions.

I've defiantly noticed that the track improves over the space of the sessions. As the weekend improves the track is at its quickest. To answer your question with the tire wear, I haven't noticed a huge difference with driving out or doing a flying lap. Hope this helps.

Weather definitely resets between q1 & 2 etc.have had wet track at end of q1 then it's bone dry for q2

Just tested the drive out/flying lap. Had tyre wear like 2% but when you so flying lap it goes up to 2-5% it seems. So definetly affects gameplay a lot.

The rubber will continue to build up on the line throughout the practice and qualifying sessions, unless it rains at some point.  The rain will "wash" the track clean of rubber.
