Steering issues with T300rs

Recommended Posts

Since the release of F1 2015 I have had an issue with the steering in-game. The wheel seems to move in individual degrees, rather than turning smoothly. It's like the turning circle has been split up in to segments. I can turn my wheel very slowly and smoothly in my hands, but the on-screen wheel will still move in set segments like the second hand on a clock. I had this issue all last year on 2015 game and now I have the same issue on 2016. I thought this was just how codemasters had set the handling model but others I've spoken to who use the same wheel don't seem to be having this same issue. I have recently updated the firmware on my T300rs wheel thinking this might have been the cause, but the issue is still there even after the update. If anybody has had the same issue, or even knows anything about the issue that I'm trying to explain, I would appreciate your help. : )

T300RS owner here. Not quite seeing this issue. What are your wheel settings, both in-game and in the TM control panel?

I'm using a PS4 so I can't see any control panels, but all my seetings in-game are at '0'- just left as default. The wheel is fine in Assetto Corsa and Prject CARS so I can't understand why I'm having issues only in F1? It's not the end of the world and the cars are still driveable, but I would prefer to find a fix or a reason as to why this is happening. I can feel notches in the force feedback as I turn the wheel over each of the 'segments' the turning circle has been split in to.

the first thing i suggest is lowering environmental effects to 10% or lwoer on the t300rs as it causes ffb clipping
