TOO MUCH advantage for players using TC

Whenever I host a game, I have to use the mic to tell people that I have assists switched off.  Most of them run a mile.  The game comes alive with no assists in a multiplayer game.  Those that are too scared/lazy/don't have the time to learn the game without using the 'training wheels'/'water wings' that are assists, are missing out.

You have a point.  If you're not using tcs and slipping too much and can't beat your assisted time then you have to practice.

Like I suggested before setup a leader board called HARDCORE it shows folks running without assist...!  Forza does this and it's good to see where you place against others w/o assist.

A low TC option would be more realistic. RL cars have more traction than those on this game

Tbh I don't think they will change anything with the assist users, it won't be fair to change things now like put extra weight or more traction on the car as the game been out for a bit of time now , if they were going to do anything it should be on the non assist side of things to balance it out correctly, what that should be I haven't got a clue but they shouldn't tamper with the assist side of things COYG

hello we have made tests with and without assists, and the result is that it is faster with no assists watch my post assist vs no assist...

i've also ran some test by my own and found out i could gain not less than half a second with assists ON (tried with medium TC in my case), after just a couple of laps of acclimatisation.

You DO get worse traction with traction control. PPL with traction control also get worse starts because of worse traction off the line.

Exactly. A response of some sort from Codemasters would be nice so the issue can be put to bed for good
