(PC) Career mode is not working

When I start up the game, go to career mode and finish setting up my driver, the game takes me to the set up screen before the career starts. The loading circle starts to rotate and soon afterwards the game crashes automatically. However, I am able to race in ' Quick race'  mode. Is there a fix for this bug?

It's part of the realism and immersion, like in real life you have to keep trying for a career in F1.

I'm on pc too, but never had this issue. I started my career twice (in my first career i started to hate my helmet design after some raceweekends, so i restarted it) without any problems.

Prehaps a fresh re install might do the trick maybe a file of 2 got lost or corrupt...

If this is the case, then try to do file integrity check first. If there are files corrupt or missing, this will repair or install needed files

I tried reinstalling, still no use... I finish set up, then get to the screen after you choose your team to drive for, then it automatically quits.

Anyone got any tips?

Have same problem here. Tried everything, doesn't work! It's shocking how in 2016 Codemasters still can't solve their bugs.
