Changing USB ports doesn't work.  I'll try the PS button off.  I found even in the Game on the PS4 the wheel was not registering if I tried to change control devices within the game..

Ok..  So.  It has to be the patch.  I deleted F1 2016 off the PS4, reloaded the CD and paused the immediate 1.04 patch download that started - then played the game without the patch..

Zero issues with the T500.

Then exited the game, rebooted the PS4 and installed the patch.  Zip, nada, nothing works..

Codies are awesome!  So I can play the game, but cant run the latest patch, which means I cant access all the online features, multiplayer, etc..  cant even save anything..

Oh well, PS4 controller users rejoice!  FU Codies!

I'm running the latest patch with my T500 and ps4 so it can't be the game?
when you deleted the game did you also delete the save game file on the ps4?
Did you also look in the game settings to make sure you had it set for the T500?
The strange thing about this game is when the wheel works the pad also works in parallel.

Nah bro its the game.  I worked out that Codemasters have removed support for powered USB hubs.  I plugged the T500 in direct and it works.  I also deleted the game and reinstalled preventing the patch to update and guess what?  It friggn worked using both USB hub or direct...

So All codies BS again...  At least I have it working now...   They like to be "special" - every other game I have works with the powered hub except F1 2016 now.. LOL

Can i get in on this-

Its the USB hubs.

I use the vertical stand with additional hubs. And EVEN though my t500 plugs directly into the PS4. It didnt recignise it until i UNPLUGGED the usb hub.

And i was spitting bullets too before i discovered this.

Yes, but I disagree its the hub's fault.   Whatever Codemasters have done in the latest update, has caused a conflict with powered usb hubs..  I can clearly verify this by installing and playing the "un-updated" version of the game - and the usb hub works!!  Then once the update is complete, it no longer works.

Also, every other game I have (Pcars, Assetto Corsa, Drive Club, etc, etc, the list as long as my arm) has NO issues with the powered USB Hub..

So BS telling me its the hubs fault.  Its clearly the game and the programming of the game that's caused this "rejection" of USB hubs..  Codemasters should come clean on it IMO!
