You forgot the passive-aggressive "ok?" at the end of each sentence. Apart from that, fine job, Sir.
And for those who want to see it again... http://web.archive.org/web/20120926062145/http://community.codemasters.com/t5/F1-The-Sport-General-Discussion/2012-Formula-1-Singapore-Grand-Prix/m-p/66770

Oh the memories.

Think Hamilton was wearing Rosberg's helmet in that session. And vice versa.

Vettel's season continues in typical fashion. Now just 24 hours to wait before Kvyat somehow takes him out at turn 1.

What happened to Vettel?
Problem with the suspension meant he was on 3 wheels through most corners. Possibly a broken anti-roll bar.

A GP-thread with 24 pages, halcyon days

That was one heck of a race. Intense for the top 5. Vettel to make it up to 5th with some very good overtakes. Kimi with the on track pass of a Merc, wish he could have done it twice for the podium. Hamilton fighting off a charging Ferrari and brake issues. Ricciardo with a fantastic race to be within a second of the win... ugh one more lap would have made it heroic. And Rosberg on that final stint on those crap tires to hold off Danny. Really hard fought races all around.

Probably the best race since Austria. Not a massive amount of overtaking but plenty of tension and strategy twists, and a lot of great drives to talk about. Credit where it is due, Rosberg was great this weekend. His performance has certainly made this thread pretty devoid of the usual influx of Hamilton fans. I still feel like he's going to need either the best 6 races of his life or some luck to win the title, but he's going the right way about it if he can repeat the performance of this race a few more times.

Thumbs up for Ricciardo, Vettel, Kvyat and Magnussen too.

A shame you can't read the entire thread because it isn't archived, I was getting the popcorn ready :(

Do you remember those threads a few years ago which celebrated the rubbish F1 drivers? Because we weren't allowed to celebrate post counts, people ended up making these amazingly detailed threads about the likes of Ide, Deletraz, Nissany, Badoer, etc.

Those were the days.

EDIT: How ironic, just as I posted this I get a notification saying I've now got 2,500 comments on the forum. What are the chances!

I remember them well because I think I was the one who started them. I made it for Nick Heidfeld and mine was actually a legitimate thread to talk about how underrated he was. But in typical forum spirit it got turned in to a way to take the piss out of  the 'less gifted' drivers.

And I concur with Jiggy's sentiments. Anyone who was here on the run up to F1 2010 and before will know how great the old forum was back in the day when everyone was hyped for the new game. 300-600 people online at any one time. Unfortunatly when the games turned out to be a bit of a let down, the forum numbers dwindled. And the move to these new (and, in my opinion, worse) forums killed off a lot of the guys who would come here and discuss general F1.
