Lord almighty!!! I have bad feeling about this. Installing now on PS4. Hope it is a "make it" not "break it" patch

It was my understanding that it would now be live on Xbox One but until I'm back in work tomorrow I can't find out much about that. Sit tight and we'll figure out what's going on as quickly as we can.

HelmetSquad yes the PC voice communication issue was raised by QA.

The patch notes are the same for all platforms hence the one generic thread.

Just signed up to post this - I have just downloaded the 1.05 update for F1 2016 on PS4 and tried to load my career mode and it just keeps crashing after the settings screen trying to load a mid race save. Super frustrated right now! I can't even start the session (race) again because you can only have one saved game (WHY!?!). The error I get is (CE-34878-0), which a quick Google means there's corrupt data. Any advice?

Not sure if the issue is because it's a "mid session save" or because there's a bug in the update, but it's never crashed on me at all before now. Have to assume the update wasn't tested on a mid session save which is ridiculous. Why have the feature if you can't use it properly, or be able to have multiple career saves (even as back-up)?!

Looks like I've lost all my career progress if the error can't be resolved, in which case why should I start again if the same thing will happen over and over.

Hope this hasn't happened to other people, and if there's a bug it needs to be fixed ASAP because it's a massive oversight.

tried pulling down a save from cloud storage? Maybe you can restore a previous save file?

@mixmax83 there were a couple of French fixes that made it but the Italian one didn't. That will follow in a later patch.

Yep gear number isn't present in cockpit view on PS4. It did reappear after the first pitstop though.

It doesn't bother me as I ride a motorbike and I'm used to just knowing what gear I'm in. I can see a lot of people having issues though.

Gears in cockpit appeared right out of the box. No more dancing hands glitch when asking for the tablet in garage

More important is testing online stability and if AI taking over a disconnected player car gets ghosted @lozzy @jennyannem

Hmm.. Might be race related. My save pre patch was a race start. Installed patch, started race with no gear number on the wheel, until my first pitstop.

At the start the ai always seem to go to the racing line, and hence go theough turn one only 1 or 2 abreast. It wasn't like this on the onld game like 2013, whered youll have the ai everywhere on the track, not on one side!

Hey! 

What is with the Safety Car Bug on the PS4 since the Patch 1.04? By a Crash and a Car goes Out of the Race comes always maximal the VSC and not the SC. The Safety Car was the best with the Patch 1.03 on the PS4.

The next Problem in a Championship-Season with Full Qualifying is, the AI do not make two runs in Q3 or the AI go out too late for a flying Round. Please fix this!

Why not a celebration with the best Top 3 after the Qualiyfing? 

And please bring back the Podium return to the Multiplayer.

Have they changed the onboards again? Might just be me but it's seems so. Had a very quick look after the update.
