Problems with F1 2016 steam version

Recommended Posts

First time playing the game it was great. Played in Abu Dhabi and I enjoyed it and it worked great with the wheel I have which is very old ( Logitech Driving Force PRO), this was last night before I went to bed.
Today the story is different, started the game loaded fine, went to quick race in Australia with the Renault car and during the garage scene before I roll out the pits it crashed, tried it again and crash, and again, and again. After I tried something different and that was Force India, Australia but straight to the race and it worked it worked with other cars as well ( apart from Ranault, still crashes). Went to career mode with Manor and this time it crashed, but now it wont launch at all. I have verified integrity cache loads of times still nothing.

Can anyone help me out?

Specs:
I5 4690k
MSI 970
8GB Ram
Windows 10

@HalomeisteR I had several similar problems, only after unplugging the mouse the game does not crash to the desktop. Have you tried unplugging a peripheral ?

Hi HalomeisteR sorry to hear you're having problems. PC patch 1.5.0 should be out soon, hopefully that will fix the problems but if they persist after that update let me know.

cmourajr, unfortunately i've tried taking every usb out except the weel. Problem still occurs. Patch 1.5.0 didn't help. Problem is still there.

Hi @Xequte, can you send me some crash dumps please. You can send them to me in a private message or attach them on this thread. Also can you clarify when the game is crashing please.

To find a crash dump:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata and search for *.dmp
