F1 2016 Controller Bug

Recommended Posts

Hello I have an Xbox One Controller and when I want to play the car just spins around and is uncontrollable. I have also uploaded a video with gameplay about it. Here it is: https://youtu.be/DsImQQSgvFI

Hi Doombie that video doesn't work for me.

Which platform are you playing on?
I'm going to assume PC and ask you to make sure you have the correct driver installed for the controller. Does it work correctly in other games?

That happens to me too when i go off track. Xbox360 controller.
This makes the game more realistic but i think like you that the effect is way too exagerated, i might be wrong though as these cars are very fast and wheelspin could easily happen with even a bit of dirt on the tyres surface.
However there is a way to effectively control this behaviour, just get back very slowly on the track and keep cruising for about the next 2 corners to let the tyres clean themselves up.

I can see the video now, if you have Traction Control off then that's how it's supposed to work. You've got a hell of a lot of power going through the back wheels, if you just put the accelerator down at low speeds it's going to spin out.

Why is the Pad in PS4 fastet than a weeh? I Drive with 13 other weehl driver against Pad Driver in a League. First Problem why is pad against weehl 2-3 second faster?  These driver can break later and going very fast of accelerator. At weehl we can't drive Like pad driver......please Codemasters fix this.
Comes maybee a patch for this?

Sry for my English ;)
Keep SimRacing

You can also clearly see that when you are stuck and facing the wall you are applying 100% gas, which overheats your tires and as a result of that it's pretty hard to handle the car without spinning it.

Well, my last game was F1 2014 and I played it on all assists off and never had such Problems. This game is so much more different, but I hope I'll get used to it

They definitely ramped the difficulty up with 2016. Don't know about 2015, but in 2016 it is definitely more difficult, especially with ABS and traction control. Good to see a bit of a challenge.
