[PC] FFB and saturation not applied while going manual

This bug has been there since the first version of the game. What's the current status of the works on the problem that causes saturation and FFB to be turned off for the first seconds after that the player is given full control of the car?
This is quite a big bug, especially on tracks like Spa that have a very tight turn to do just after going manual.
