Tyre Wear saves even after restart in MP

Hey there.

We're driving with 3 Players an intern MP championship with AI. We got a rule for our self, that when an crash occurs during Start or in the First Lap, we gonna restart the Race.
But there is a problem in F1 2016 with that. 
Let's say, when I crash and my suspension breaks, I can't use this tyre anymore in an restartet Race and the others got tyre wear for the driven miles. 
Even if we restart the Race  after a few rounds without an occured crash, the tyre wear is always saved! e.g. If we restart a few times, and someone qualified with the US in Monaco on P4, your Tyre is gone thanks to the degradation. You need to Start then on another Tyre compund. If you restart a few more times then and/or crashed once, you won't have Tyres enough to finish the Race.

In the F1 Games before wasn't  it like that.
