Predicting the next patch

Recommended Posts

So a little idea for a game...

What you have to do is comment on what you want in the next patch and why. Hopefully, Codemasters may take notice.

I'll start. I want to see more aggressive and competitive AI in wet conditions as I believe they back off too easily and make wet racing too easy.

I wanna the new Mercedes w07 in the game and if possible the front of the cars a lil bit lower ..there is a lot of gap between the front wing and the ground.

My list would be endless!
  • Dedicated Servers
  • TrackIR Support
  • Move all MFD information to steering wheel dashoard in cockpit cam
  • Get brake-bias a dedicated axis / dedicated buttons
  • Get differential setting a dedicated axis / dedicated Buttons
  • Remove "ducking"
  • Improve Jeff (constantly telling you that the sunny conditions not gonna change)
  • ......

I would like it if Codemasters made the AI more competitive (Defending the inside line, Out-braking you better, No going wide and handing you the position then going side by side in a corner, Weaving around the straight to break the slipstream, & easier to make mistakes when pushing.) I would also like it if the AI could have the suspension break for no reason, unsafe releases, & speeding in the pitlane. Damage wise, I think that it should be WAY easier to loose a port of your car, like a front wing element, a wheel. I would also like it if Codemasters made it so you can loose your rear wing like in F1 2012, but make it pretty easy to loose it. Gameplay wise, I think the R&D has to be redone, like having the upgrades reset after each season, but it doesn't affect how you cars perform after the R&D resets. (If you get Manor up to, lets say 5th in the R&D chart, you wont go back to last, you will stay in 5th.)
The AI also need to upgrade their car more, because it is to easy to get your car up to the top in the R&D chart.
R&D should also cost WAY more R&D points.

I know that this is a big list, so I hope that all of this is in for F1 2017 at least.

Jeff doesn't need to be improved. He's a great person as he is, he doesn't have to change. Nah, actually, it's annoying when Jeff tells you to make a 78-stop strategy in a 3 laps race.

Improve the GD framerates.................Was having great FPS (95-107) in practice and 85-95 in race, but then v. 1..5 patch came along and FPS dropped 45-57 n practice and 39-45 in race.   Patch 1.0.6 did nothing to improve it back to FPS level before these two patches.  I'm running Win 7 64-bit with Nvidia GTX 970 (4 gb) abd 16 gb RAM................That's all I want in a new patch.  Also, transitioning from one menu to another was like butter.  Now it sometimes freezes completely or is choppy  Game was running great and was smooth..............now it's like crap and not fun like before

Seriously though; some decent button mapping for Wheel users would be VERY WELL RECEIVED.

I'd like to be able to adjust Brake Bias and Diff settings via my wheel buttons rather than having to navigate a menu.

Next patch will be F1 2017, still as broken as ever, carrying over all of the most frustrating issues from 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010.

Worst looking racing game on Xbox.
