"Changed the tyre rules so the tyre you start the race on counts as a mandatory for the race."

Why is that so? 
No were in the Real rules is it stated that the tyre you start on counts as mandatory!

Not this again! It's tyre specification not tyre sets. This is article 24.4 H of the sporting regulations. 

  1. Unless he has used intermediate or wet-weather tyres during the race, each driver must use at least two different specifications of dry-weather tyres during the race, at least one of which must be a mandatory dry-weather race tyre specification as defined in Article 24.2(b). Unless a race is suspended and cannot be re-started, failure to comply with this requirement will result in the exclusion of the relevant driver from the race results.

Exactly, Lozzy even mentioned that they consulted Pirelli before the change. 

And yeesh, why do you have to jump to the conclusion that "Codmaster" made a "stupid rules"? They always will have their reasons.
