Change practice length after starting a career?

Recommended Posts

I started a career and am already 3-4 races in. Looks like I can't change the practice length after starting a new career? Is there a way to do that? Right now it's set to 45/45/30 and it's just too long for my taste. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes I don't feel like waiting through the sessions either. I just hit the button to fast forward through them. I think the top speed is something like 30x so it's not too bad to wait through that for me. I'm just mentioning this in case someone else might come across this post and wonder the same thing and not know there's a fast forward feature. Well, at least there is on the PC.

@worthycars

....or you could just end Practice Session for the one you're on and go to the next one, or even go straight to Qualifying should you so wish. I am doing 100% Career so my Practice sessions are 90 minutes for the first two sessions during which, depending on the Dynamic Weather conditions, I make sure the car is set up for the course, and maybe within the first two, get points for an Acclimatisation programme, and the 2nd or 3rd session a Qualifying run. I must admit to have given up on the Tyre Wear option. I would say that I would spend 20 minutes top on the 1st Practice session, and it's as I feel on the next two. I do visit all three, just in case there are opportunities to set up for Intermediate, or Wet races.

The practice length depends on your race length. If you don't want to change your race length, just retire from the session when you are done.
