Tyre wear on Manor very High?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've been playing a Multiplayer championship with my brother and have noticed my tyres going off very quickly compared to his, even when play as same strategy and setup (we gerneally use stock setup)

Do the cars differ in Tyre Deg? Ie is a Sauber kinder on its tyres?

Thanks

As far as I'm aware, the cars differ in tyre wear. I just did a test with the Manor vs Force India, and the Force India was way better on its tyres.

Yeah the season before I raced as Findia, and in comparison found them very easy on the tyres thus allowing  1 stop even on 50% races...

A good way to check would be to do a back to back AI test to try and get a regulated baseline of driving, humans have more chance of driving in different styles. you brake more or turn more aggressivley you will have more wear.

you and your brother host an online session with one additional ai,  thats there to make sure the session doesnt end, have the ai setting at say very easy then they are at a limited pace, skip qualifying start the race and only you check your tire wear then disconnect (pull out your ethernet cable) rejoin and let the ai controlled car do a couple of laps, then take over control of the car and see what the level of wear is, repeat this process identically using a different car for yourself and see if you have different levels of wear,  itstime consuming but may help answer your question with a regulated baseline
