iOS Weekly challenge tips?

I have spent a couple of hours playing the weekly challenge (Brazil). The top times are around 1:09 but I haven't broken 1:17. Does anyone have any tips please? I have experimented with the setup slider and all assists are off. 

My line and pace are similar to the first lap in this video:


Also, I just noticed that the top global time says 0:49. Maybe there is a glitch/shortcut on the track?
