Could it be possible that we could see a Porsche DLC pack for DiRT Rally next year sometime. I can just imagine a 959 in some sort of desert event or a new GT3 (Tuttel Racing version) possibly in the upcoming Germany event.Well I can dream can't I  Or also a 911 dashing through Monte Carlo :)

Porkhammer 78 Posted June 17, 2015 Well that's reassuring. No it isn't.They just don't learn.
TPJP 6 Posted June 17, 2015 Seems like game has arcadey gameplay, it doesn´t surprise me as this game is made towards more casual rally and racing gamers, given its license and respective audience. It reminds me of V-rally in the way that the car slides on corners lol.I like the menus though, it feels really WRC themed unlike the previous two WRC games. Rallycameraman 241 Posted June 17, 2015 That looks worse than SLRE!

It just shows they're not taking it seriously. They've gotten a lot of advice and constructive criticism for all of their titles, and what have they learned? Nada. They just keep pumping out this puppy vomit they have the stomach to call rally game.I have one word for them. Shoo.

They just keep pumping out this puppy vomit they have the stomach to call rally game.I have one word for them. Shoo. WRC 5 is developed by a French company - it's their first attempt at a rally game. I think there were some dev diary videos where they showed they hired people from some respected sim racng game developers.Nevertheless, the game does not look very appealing to someone really interested in an authentic and proper rally experience. Funny thing is that this whole arrangement with Big Bean Interactive acting as publisher for Milestone in the past and Kylotonn Games must be working to some extent for them as they keep churning them out, which means it makes some financial sense.Milestone now think they can go on their own with a new IP, but SLRE is not that convincing just yet. The thing is that it's not their first rally game, so what's the excuse? Will they turn it around before it gets released? To my mind they won't reach the level of DiRT Rally - not a chance. But then let's not give Codies reasons to become complacent :P
gfRally 449 Posted June 17, 2015 I'll comment later since I am looking at this on my phone, but being nitpicky on visuals of all the Rally Games DR included. On my phone I see that the hood (bonnet) gets dusty, it would be nice to see that in DR. Again I'm nitpicking but that's just what my work has trained me to do, really it's a sickness:)
RodgerDavies 933 Posted June 17, 2015 Wow, I got my hopes up for WRC5 as I'm a big fan of the current crop of cars, but that's thoroughly disappointing; I can hardly tell the difference from the Milestone ones - I thought "they must have learned by now, after 4 unsuccessful attempts", but it seems not. Out with the old boss, in with the new boss, I'm not getting fooled again.
Rallycameraman 241 Posted June 17, 2015 More SLRE Gameplay. I don't think the guy actually knows how to drive a car either, he's holding the wheel in a very bizarre way.https://youtu.be/Rf4SzNhxtpcCrap sound from the car.

Lol he says in the beginning that he was informed (probably by Namco xD) that SLRE is the best rally game to be released at the moment, he must have not played Dirt Rally for sure. Also during the video he makes it pretty clear that it is difficult and the car is hard to control. Maybe its physics are better than expected? Or he is just a sucky driver? :P

RodgerDavies 933 Posted June 17, 2015 That's weird, the HUD seems almost identical to WRC5. Either way, the video and wheel hardly seem connected.
SpinelliBR 0 Posted June 17, 2015 Lol, like me, he is Brazilian and I understood everything he said. Apparently he does not understand anything rally games, talking all the time "this game is very hard" in my opinion is that he can not drive.
TPJP 6 Posted June 18, 2015 Saw another video of a guy making an analysis of SLRE that he played at E3. He says the game is legit and felt like a PC rally game as in it has realistic physics. Porkhammer 78 Posted June 18, 2015 Well he says it's legit, but it doesn't look legit. I'll wait for player reviews on Youtube myself.
SkiddyMcCrash 311 Posted June 18, 2015 @2:10 Those enthusiasts who are eager for a rally simulator style game on consoles, because most of them are gonna be on pc, "probably" will be very happy with this.Translated = "Not as good as DiRT Rally, only good for consoles"
