as we get closer to release , i really hope lot of what we asked for after Dirt Rally's release , would be implemented .
Tire choices for one ,i asked for :)  would love to know what else is coming ,again,that the community asked for .

Early 2000s cars were asked countless times and so far we've only had the addition of the Lancer Evo VI to the already existing cars, but even then it couldnt race the 2001s. Let's see what happens.

So far the game seems to be shaping up nicely, I'm only a bit hesitant to the cars and to the absence of DR1 rallies, specially Monte, Sweden and Wales.

I'd love peugeot 206 and 307 for a bit of variety preferably with the old WRC colours, however impossible that may be.

truly hope that tarmac handling was important to them for this sim, and the inclusion of so far unknown tarmac rallies fate is safe .
Monte was so beautiful in DR and sure hoping for a sequel of it.

In case it was missed when looking at Today's Prodrive post on FB, they posted one between yesterdays mic'ing session and the picture today - small video of the car idling and revving with the sound gear on it.  Caption underneath read you'll have to wait until the game to hear more.

Yes, just 10 mins away. Reality is, they don't have any cars to record that aren't customers cars. Which is why we went elsewhere. It's all so simple eh.

“Could” being the key word, assuming permission and availability.  
You seem quite frustrated.  Perhaps that would confirm that you are having to use the 80’s sounds for the RGT car and the 80’s car won’t actually feature...?

Yeah, i reckon it's in, especially as ProDrive just told us to wait for the game to hear what they recorded.


Now, i know that's technically just hearing, they never said drive the car - however, as available as this is, the closeness is convenient, but doesn't matter as much.  This is available, but again, super rare and not needed, you'll notice it doesn't sound anything like the RGT, so bear that in mind along with the availability of RGT Porsches.

I can't speak for him, but I believe he meant that Tuthill look after customer cars, so they can't call Tuthill and ask them to start up a customer's car for recording. I've no doubt they will have found someone with a modern RGT car for the new car's spec. I don't think this guarantees the SC RS is in and we probably won't know for months, but the signs point to it:

- It's the model recorded, I'm sure they could find any other model they were after
- It's 'easier' to licence works cars (see Assetto Corsa), so the SC RS is arguably more likely than the SC (early 80s) or RS (late 70s)
- Group B RWD is a class with 2 cars, looking for another would make sense

There's no way they are recording that car for the RGT, the main reason being that they sound very, very different. Second, during the last livestream they were intending to show the RGT and mentioned that it sounds amazing (not the in-game car technically, but still.. they wouldn't say that and then show placeholders IMO.)

Na, not frustrated, I'm just blunt like that ;) You did make it sound so easy though, Kev. Also, we don't record at workshops, most cars need to be transported to a track or runway.

To summarise the context - Madhun suggested the RGT wouldn’t be hard to seek out as they are all over Spain & Europe?  I was referring to possible subjects perhaps being available a little closer to home, NOT belittling the work you do when you do actually manage to find one....

So is the Opel Kadett a pre-order exclusive (to a specific retailer), or is that unlocking it?

So are they selling 'unlocks' as DLC, or is a typo? Also, very vague about locations, but hope that will be revisited before launch

So are these included with the 'deluxe' version of not?
