Some nice footage of the Porche GT3 getting around Belgium and also getting a bit sideways  ;) Engines sound gorgeous!

Yea. The Irish tarmac rally flag is being flown by quite a few including me. Hopefully Jon can whisper into the right ears. Narrow hedge lined muddy tarmac roads. Yes please.

I'm pretty sure he is flying that flag as much as we do. We really need some Irish tarmac. (Any tarmac on the British Isles will do for me)

Will say that I've always been an advocate of Ypres, Zlin or Valais before Ireland, but I've recently been watching videos from Downs Rally and COI (both Northern Ireland) and I'm starting to convert...

I just hope if it does happen, it's hedge-lined, junction--filled stages like Hamilton's Folly and not a wide and flat one like Moll's Gap.

That said, Belgium would be my first choice still, a stage like Kemmelberg or Dikkebus would be perfect

That flag has been flown for sometime on this forum! Sadly Codemasters haven't booked themselves a field trip to Ireland yet...

Always amazes me how much better the onboard picture/sound quality is on ERC compared to WRC.

And dayum, the S2000 cars sounds epic!

@bogani agreed, but it's always frustrated me how little footage the ERC team release. They must be sat on top of a goldmine but only ever release a few minutes per event. Their helicopter footage is amazing for the 60 seconds or so they show!

Really wish they had a service like WRC where you could watch all the onboard.

watching them videos still mind boggles me why no one does events in games like those with such narrow rallies ?

narrow roads at speed are just so intense. said this quite a few times. hopefully someone makes this happen. at some point. one car width wide .

@dgeesi0

I guess it makes it extremely difficult to control with a pad with such precision - that said, the Alpine stages in DR1 were a lot of fun and probably some of the narrowest I've seen in a game to date.

I suspect the WRC quality is somewhat due to the need for live transmission which limits bandwidth. Though I do feel they could probably improve quite a bit by just getting cameras that can handle changing lights better. Hope they make some effort for improvement over 2019.

Yeah, but they were crap even before going live.

That takes me back... though Hamilton's Folly looks wide here; Tyrones Ditches was a particular favourite of mine though:

Neither the Puma nor the Evo WRC really fit IMO (unless there will be a '2000s' class after all), so I suspect it's just a shot of the very nice Subaru...

I'm not 100% certain, but I think his Evo is a Group N, not a WRC.

I believe it's actually Group A.

He owns a Lancer WRC as well though. He did before at least.

Oh, if he owned a Group A I wasn't aware, I've seen him rallying what I think is a WRC05 (but I zoned out of WRC in mid-2000s so not sure)
