ShodanCat 231 Posted January 31, 2019 I wonder if they've done research on the split between those who desire RX content and those who desire rally content. It seems to me it's far, far more weighted to rally, but I admit it could be my personal bias. But if I'm right, it begs the question: why evenly split the DLC between RX and rally if 80% of the playerbase is more interested in rally? Just theorizing obviously since we don't even know what's in season 1 yet, let alone season 2.
carpa 303 Posted January 31, 2019 The selection of cars is very good in terms of modern rally cars. Apart from the Hyundai there's everything I could hope for and something more too. Obviously no WRCs but that was to be expected so I never got my hopes up for those. As soon as we go back in time, I feel like this is mostly a step back compared to the original DiRT Rally. I mean, there are some nice additions (the Evo VI, the 205 GTI, the Golf GTI, the 240Z) but the lost car classes feel like a real hole in the car list.No Gr.B RWD, and that includes the Rally 037 which is one of my favorite rally cars, no 2000s (that means just 3 subies in the car list) and I never realized how much I'd miss F2's up until... Well, now.The fact I couldn't care less about rallycross cars definitely doesn't help :/
Riggs 1,668 Posted January 31, 2019 I seriously hop ethe 2000cc makes a strong return. It has been the most requested class to be completed ever since DiRT Rally 1. It'd be a tremendous disappointment if this class would be dropped for good. A proper 2000cc class with early 2000s WRCs (name it how you want) is the the missing stone to fill the gap. gk9147 220 Posted January 31, 2019 F2 , 2000 , group B Rwd come back in dlc , maybe DR 2.0 have more season because 3 2000 , 2 f2 , 2group Rwd, hyundai R5 , mini RX (maybe 2010 and new car come too ) , in 1 season you have 3 car for 2 season , the missing cars come in first with 2 or 3 season and after the new car come or in new season you have all F2 + new car ( exemple toyota celica ( all celica ) and corolla , peugeot 206 , skoda octavia and fabia WRC seat cordoba , saxo kitcar ......) I speak a lot about 2000 car ( not only wrc ) because I saw these cars when I was young on TV but you have more car for different year exemple subaru legacy , nissan pulsar gti r-r , peugeot 309 gti , renault super 5 renault 11 turbo group a , ,R8 giordini , rx 7 group B ..... codemasters have choice . even if some cars do not win races, having them would be nice to see their differencehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzsSwamSDrAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb9MEvdj3Tchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eKEcIfHBuAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-mheCrDwMkkylotonn have clio but not Renault 11 ragnotti https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AATv1g66hAE

F2CMaDMaXX 505 Posted January 31, 2019 I'll hold my hands up as someone who made a mistake reporting on D4 just prior to release.Don't think that all of us involved with that weren't kicking ourselves afterwards - don't think we didn't learn from that and know that we were all involved at a *considerably* earlier point for a massive amount of feedback to change the outcome, not just validate what was thrown at us.When @Rallycameraman says he enjoyed it a lot, he means it, as do I. I had a blast last night, crazy experience and can't wait to get back home and play again tonight.

They’re definitely not. Iv just been playing RWD on Tarmac and its so precise when you want it to be, but push the limit and it does bite back. Tyres and conditions have a massive effect on the levels of grip, naturally

Trust me, looks nothing like that on my system. I genuinely don't want to start some big argument, but you can see in that video the same old Dirt tarmac physics with the strange way it seems the rear wheels almost seem to steer, or to put it another way, like the car is rotating on a single point through the center of mass, no matter what each corner/tire is doing. I get that you're really excited by what you've been given the opportunity to try out, but... I mean you can see it right here on display.
F2CMaDMaXX 505 Posted February 1, 2019 Watching something with a moving camera on a static screen is difficult to see what's really going on.I'm not saying tarmac is spot on, but i'm saying that it feels pretty good, it's certainly not as bad as that shakeycam footage suggests.
