If it really comes sometime into this game (n not just to the next DiRT title in 2 years or so), then I'd ask for someone more knowledgable to enlighten me: http://tech-racingcars.wikidot.com/subaru-impreza-gc8-wrc97 According to that site, the transmission is either H- or Paddle-Shift. Which years/models did what? I've seen it's an H-Shifter in the video. But I also am looking forward to driving it sequential as it would counteract the Evo VI nicely. But if that is unrealistic, I'd stick to H, as I like to drive as a real car was also driven in the day. So, did the S3-S5 Impreza have some H and some paddle versions and if so, which ones? I found this about paddle shift: "The WRC99, introduced at the first round of the championship, featured an electronically controlled, hydraulically actuated semi-automatic transmission with a drive-by-wire throttle, allowing the cars to be shifted with steering wheel mounted paddles, similar to F1 cars.[108] This allowed the driver to shift gears faster, and reduced the chance of dog gear wear. Due to technical difficulties, the team struggled until the season's 7th round in Argentina.[48] However, the car helped prove much of the technology seen on later cars. Subaru was the first rally team to implement this technology, which has been used on all WRC cars until it was forbidden by the 2011 championship rules." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_World_Rally_Team#World_Rally_Car_Impreza_GC,_1997–2001

F2CMaDMaXX 505 Posted September 29, 2019 It must be something specific to the type of paddle shifting, as the Escort Cosworth had it too, and, disallowed in 2011? eh?

Tier 2 is the next 25%, and Tier 4 is the bottom 25%, so Tier 3 is actually the 40% from 35 to 75.

Prodrive actually ran a semi-automatic gearbox on the Legacy, but the system was never used on stage as it was unreliable and barely faster than a manual shift. As it was classed as a automatic gearbox though, it permitted them to run a lighter flywheel, so was kept on the car. All the Subaru gearboxes were H-pattern, they initially tried to automate them with pneumatics (on the Legacy) before realising that was a bad idea and switching to a hydraulically controlled system. They trialed the hydraulic semi-automatic H-pattern gearboxes late in '98 and introduced them for the '99 season (on the S5).

When the 1.6 lite WRC's were introduced they went back to sequential stick, banning paddle shifters. I believe paddles was allowed again 2015.

I did 4 events in the current championship: Got 2 wins and 2 2nd places. 2x 25 points + 2x 18 points = 86 points (FIA points rules). But I have 114 points currently, and the runner-ups have 96, 91 and so on. I...just don't get it 🤣 We don't use the FIA points scoring system for Rally. The points start at 30 for 1st place, then down in steps of 3 to 18, then steps of 2 down to 6, then single steps until 0. This allows a Rally event to sit alongside a Rallycross event in Custom or other mixed discipline championships. We use the FIA scoring for Rallycross events, which go up to 30. (16 in the Qualifiers, 6 in the Semi-Final, and a maximum of 8 from a Final) 2 5 1
tbtstt 2,385 Posted September 30, 2019 Incidentally, if there is an early Impreza WRCar coming to DR2.0 @PJTierney, then could you please ask the team to make the most of it and attach a "No, it's not a 22B!" trophy to the car please? 5

AlexMolnar 0 Posted September 30, 2019 Hi Guys:) I wonder if somebody could help me here. I have an issue with Dirt Rally 2.0. I did a rallycross world series time 3.15.407, but there was a connection problem with racenet(33a14c9d....) which mean I can not see my time on the Leaderboard. I did a rally run after without time(retire) but this Time I can see my result on rally Leaderboard. What is the problem? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help. for the rally event... connection errors can mess up your results, especially in Community Challenges and the World Series. for rallycross... DNFs in either rally or RX still count as participation. you get a time of 15:00 for a DNF on a short rally stage, or thirty minutes for a long one. I don't remember what it is for RX. Codies' points scoring system, having less gap between the different positions, is way less demanding in terms of results. For example, in the FIA system you get half the points of the winner when you come fourth (12 points). With Codies' scores, that happens when you arrive seventh (14 points)

Tighter points keep the battles closer and you don't have one person running away with the championship by the end of the 3rd event.

Because I don't see 30 points given to first place there. In our last rally in the DRChampionship first place got 14 points, so must be a complete different system 🤔

For example, you have a greater chance of getting rain in Wales than you do in Spain. This algorithm will now be in use in Random and Autofill Custom Freeplay Events after 1.9, ensuring that random conditions are in line with real-life precipitation probabilities. Hey, is there any chance the algorithm picks certain stages in certain locations more than others in My Team? I'm finding that in specific locations it tends to pick stages from one set more than the other. I can't speak on Greece or Wales yet unfortunately. but for example: Monte Carlo: Vallee Descendante/Route Turini and their sprint stages are far more common than Pra d'Alart/Col de Turini Descente and theirs Sweden: Hamra/Lysvik & sprints over Norraskoga/Ransbysater & their sprints Argentina: Las Juntas/Camino de la Puerta over Valle de los Puentes/inversa After a few months playing the game and checking the stages that popped up in Monthly, Weekly and Daily Challenges as well as the Career mode, I found this to be the case with most of the base game locations (ie, all of them except for Argentina). and once I voiced my concerns about 4 months ago the imbalance seemed to go away after the next update (1.5). I don't think it's all my head, but it could be, I guess 🙂
