DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

There are about half a dozen different lines when you don't win, two for when you win a stage, two for when you win an event. That's it. You play the game for an hour and you have heard them all. Constantly hearing the same lines over and over would be less of a problem if he had something meaningful to say, but the no-win lines are just completely random lines that have nothing at all to do with what just happened at the stage you drove, and contain no meaningful information.

It's the sort of feature that either should be done in depth and detail or not at all. Phil is a great co-driver when you drive, but I'll be happy not to hear those comments anymore.

I really want to know who the hell wrote/decide Phill dialog lines after stage...definitely not a rally person

I missed Paul's voice in DR2 for a while (and even Jen's from D4), I found Phil really hard to concentrate on, but the WRC game co-driver makes me grateful for both/either!

Broadcast Mode:

• Added ability to use Trackside cameras. 
• Added ability to select a specific player to spectate and follow through multiple Stages/Races.
• Made numerous minor improvements and bug fixes.

 

@PJTierney I am sorry for the dumb question man .. but what is Broadcast mode ? When do you use it ? Where do I find this in the game ? Thanks man ! 🙂

There are some rally tracks where either you know the curves by heart or there is no way you dont crash. Because our beloved Phil forgets to tell you in advance about the harsh curve coming and does not tell you to slow down ... Thank you Phil !!! The coach builder loves you very much !

If you're in a Multiplayer Lobby, you can use Broadcast Mode to spectate other players.

It's primarily built for the World Series, but since the feature's there we're letting players use it too 🙂

I enjoyed Travis Pastrana.   He also was the voice in DiRT1 in the US.

 

I think once you meet the guy, you can’t help to not like his enthusiasm for anything he does.
