Yeah, I had the feeling that banners were changing. But it’s not uncommon. Some other games do it already for some years. Not sure if it would mean that a new MG would come to DiRT. It might be just a commercial. But it also could mean the MG TCR for GRiD. I would be suprised something MG would come to DiRT.

Seems strange for a company to advertise in a game if ones of their cars isn't coming to said game though, but yeah I'm struggling to see what MG would be added, unless they're planning to make an R5 MG 3 or something 😂

And he did a very good job, I like his voice and how he read out the notes.

It used to amaze me that Petter Solberg could drive that fast while translating Phil's pacenotes.

This is concept of MG3 for WRC, but i think the look should be similar to the R5 class for  DR 2.0, if it happens!?

Edit: Now i saw this was not official render from MG, and its based on older generation..

 If MG3 rally comes to game, then more likley will be New Model MG3

I think it's a pity synonymous that Codemasters detects a problem but it does not fix / improve

As an example, the co driver comments after the stage
instead of making new and better comments there is the function to turn them off

or the Spain rally here in the forum many users want the option to exclude the spain rally

But it would be better if Codemasters improved the grip on the Rally Spain

the german co driver uses some english words because they have less syllables than the German translation. Therefor it is faster to read and understand and makes it easier to get everything in time. I like it this way, I also like the female higher pitch, cause it is easier to distinguish from the lower pitch engine.

syllable example:

schneiden vs. cut (2 vs 1)

I know what dont mean cut but not nicht schneiden its better (for German Drivers)

Anyone who prefers to hear English can take Phil

As far as I remember, DR 2.0 is the only Dirt game with language mix

The Co Driver at WRC 8 is better in some points, for example, the timing of the announcements

he said ninety ( french is quatre-vingt -dix)    but in french   the note  is  square ( french is équerre )

he said sky but you go  down of the road 

the note is very  high and not good

 honnestly i wait update for that  ,with another fictional co-driver it will cost less for codemasters

About the pace notes.

The co-drivers of Dutch rally drivers (the top drivers from the Netherlands actually have a lot of times Belgium co-drivers) usually use a lot of English in their notes, as SkyRex already mentioned as it also can be easier and more clear what ment in English. A Dutch co-driver language is also totally not necessarily in my opinion.  At least i don't see any point of it. Also I haven't seen anyone ever comment they would like to get a Dutch co-driver voice.

I think also compared to a lot of other countries, we (Dutchies) are used to understand and speak English as we not synchronize films, series and stuff like that. Therefore we ussually swap with Sweden with first place in the EF English Proficiency Index. In cities like The Hague it is almost common to speak English and even my nephew from 4 speaks almost fluently English.

One thing I also agree with @SkyRex is that a female voice is better to understand. At least with DiRT 3 and DiRT 4 I also preffered Jen Horsey.

I could always bring back the discussion about the lack of DLC support on Oculus.  That and the claw back of the season pass.  That was a **** move.
