My little nephew and niece are here for a visit, and some old toys were gotten from the attic, including this 1/43 Burago Escort (which has seen better days). 

As far as I can check it is based on the 1994 San Remo rally version, driven by Cunico.

Some players were already called up during the development of previous titles to test a version of the physics etc. inhouse. Weren't you one of them? 

We gave feedback, but given how different our build was from final release, i.e. I liked the alpha build and don't particularly like the final build... And it wasn't in-house, we got alpha keys for Steam.

But again, thy never claimed it was by the players and it's not the early access deal the original had.

He pointed out previous titles. I believe a handful of community members were invited to try out Dirt 4 in house during development. It was mostly UK based members I assume.

It is just a Hyundai livery on Spacestar. Download it (racedepartment), use it and see the game mention it as Spacestar.

Well it is odd that an RX team mentions and tags DiRT in its post with the real car without being in the game, other that teasing it might get into the game.

Long time no see.  

Well, as you all know, most of the SSs in DR2 except Poland, etc., are divided into four stages with one connected long stage divided into two, and eight stages with further divided into those two stages.  

I think it's really cool if we can run all of the big long stages (especially Monte Carlo😍).  How is it?

Timed exclusive is surely the most likely option, isn't it? 

Seems hard to believe it might come this late in the lifespan of the game but, in true Gossip thread fashion, I want to believe!

The tease from Grönholm RX as well as Pj's reaction pretty much confirms the RX version at least imo. 

I'm 100% certain the i20 R5 would be in game if they didn't get restricted by the WRC8/Hyundai deal.

Hyundai have been doing a great job getting the R5 into championships all over Europe in the last couple of years so it would really be the perfect last piece of the jigsaw - not fussed for the RX version but at least it would indicate that Hyundai and Codemasters have a working relationship.

I don’t expect it, but maybe the dream isn’t as dead as I once thought!

Not possible in DR2, but some mega-long stages would certainly be a challenge.

 

Personally Poland is the only location in the game that scares me, oh and that damn rock hidden in the grass in Greece 😄
