are you sure guys about DL size ?  6,5 gigabyte ?  seems exaggerated for just a car update...

Positive it's 6.5g. It's not just a car pack, there's the V2 handling on some of the car groups that don't have it yet, the core map patch and there'll be others, there always are.

Updating one line in a file that is 65MB will require you to download the entire 65MB's anyway. Cars are most likely about 1GB on their own, so we're getting over 5GB of fixes, updates and new things in general.

Haha and in a typical fashion DiRT Rally update rolls out a day before I'm off on holiday :D :D

Can't wait to hear the feedback on the update and then move onto Gossip on what cars will be rolled out as part of the Winter Wonderland :)

I've just noticed that DiRTy Gossip thread now has over 200 K views! :O That's quite a few... I like it that it's become such an active place on the forum, but at times maybe it would be better if chat about steering wheels or other less Gossipy subject was done somewhere else.

Either way it's November already - perhaps the month of DiRT Rally full release!
Can't believe that back in March we thought we'd have to wait much much longer. So much has happened since then and so much was achieved by the DiRT team. What a great success this has been.

I'm not a betting man, but even I would bet that DiRT Rally v1.5 will come out on consoles in 2016. Gossip.

Shouldn't the Focus 07 have a 5 Speed Sequential box instead of 6 speed? O.o

Wasn't it the 06 with 6 gears?

Ahh, yeah, it's only that much because I just spent on making all my engineers have 1000+ stages on their contracts.



In more serious note, I have versatile setup on my engineers, I don't change the perks every single time I want to upgrade a car. 2 full rally's are usually enough to upgrade any car anyway. And I farmed about 4 million IGC on Pikes Peak, in order to get all the cars. Rest came from getting all championships to Master level and just enjoying the game :P

i love Lancer in real life. But never use in games because( almost) always the volande is the right side and I hate.

The DiRT Show gave an answer to a very important question.

We can still have hope for the Quattro E2 appearing in the game :D Though it's definitely not gonna appear with the Winter Wonderland, so n ot in this year then. My guess is march 2016 is when Quattro E2 will descend upon the Group B :D

In other news of the day, we know that there will be snow in the next update xD

PS. The backfire on the Evo is simply brutal. Loving it.
