We'll read plenty into this! :P I hope it was just one of those shitty Mondays, not an apocalyptic day when the big bosses changed their mind and won't let the team make the game they wanted... @KickUp posted a rather gutting video of a Saxo losing wheels... Then again certain Mr Williams has a tendency of fooling us, so when he says 'don't read too much into it' he's really saying 'you're right again guys, well done. Since you've uncovered and correctly interpreted this piece of information, I'll reveal a lot more tomorrow'...  B)

It's not a surprise to see the DiRTi dev team look into car engineering, but seeing that the test equipment of choice is LEGO is rather interesting :)

There are a few fundamental things that make rally cars behave the way they do, especially on loose surfaces. Diffs is one of them ;)

Another possibility is that pic has nothing to do with DiRT.

Yes, everyone's getting antsy for the announcement. (CG trailer taking longer than normal over at RealTimeUK, hmmm?)

819 days since the DiRT: Showdown which was arguably not a "mainline" DiRT game and so 1,187 days since DiRT 3.

The IGN editor is from London, UK... so maybe he knows more since these were some of the more "tame" tweets (imo). (either embargo for upcoming press event or a friend in Codemasters) /tinfoilhat

When was the last time there was so much DiRTy chatter going about? I'd say quite a while...

So we've got @JonTucker‌ Project Manager declaring a #DiRTCharter, @justbiglee getting so excited that his finger slips onto '4' when typing a tweet and now he's seemingly not allowed to use the internet, @Britpoint‌ is now working on something DIFFerent.

If I was to guess, and of course I never do when it comes to DiRTi gossip... , I'd say that the DiRT team was given more devs as GRID Autosport DLC work ended (hm?) and the next DiRT project is now full steam ahead :D

Probably already mentioned but I'm hoping this one will be built using their brand new ego engine (F1 2015), which we haven't seen yet.  I guess if its for the aging consoles again, it will be the same tired old engine, and expect the usual compromises in the visual department..

Honestly in terms of just visuals, i dont think the DiRT 2 or 3 have much in the way of compromises, on PC at least. I mean yes the car models are slightly low poly compared to modern titles, but environments look fantastic at 1080p60. The art styles are both class leading imo.

Dont get me wrong, im hoping its on a new engine too, but its not going to magically create a better looking game. Its the more advanced physics, such as more accurately simulating diffs etc, that i think will be the benefit of a new engine.
