Well there was a nice bit dropped by Paul in the podcast there, even calling us out for the gossip, i think we'll be very happy with the extra stuff it seems we're going to get :)

What a way to shamelessly plug in your need for others acceptance to guarantee your own self satisfaction. You self centered egotistical ... person you. What happened to buying a better wheel setup?

Revealing discussion about licensing and working with the manufacturers in that interview. TL;DR: blame the lawyers (and not Sébastien Loeb).

Also: lifetime sales reached in seven months! Here's to a bright future for Dirt Rally.

Thanks very much for this, I enjoyed that interview and it was good to hear how well Dirt Rally has done comercially, virtually assuring us of more content in the future!

Still keen for the new Dirt Show though, hope we still get one before Christmas?

I'm thinking they'll hit a new show next week as Darren and Paul will be back in the office together.

What i want to know is if there will be a roadbook tomorrow :)

Yeah, I would expect some sort of update today as usual!  Might be the DiRT show, I think @Hatward told us to remember our Christmas jumpers (that's today).

Ooh, here is a question that will likely be answered in a few hours anyway: do we expect the weekly Road Book to continue now EA has ended?

Not sure if sarcasm or genuinely angry?

So there will be more to talk about than sales figures, every friday?   oooooh the gossip

Oh yeah, Pauls interview.  So basically everyone likes the game except for the Lawyers.  Maybe they would win them over if they have one show up [in game] every time we crash? lol

Listening to Paul's interview there...

lifetime sales targets have already been met and exceeded in the 7 months of Early Access

leeway to go  Bigger and Better in the future - guys will read into that & know what it means!

Despite CodeMasters having lawyers fluent in French and Japanese, lawyers for manufacturer's are difficult and challenging, to the point where its not worth pursuing the car's anymore.  Citroen were particularly challenging, but Yves Matton was open to the use of the DS3, but the Loeb Evo link may have been a factor in not getting it.

Nothing gossipy in the interview about post DLC as I could hear. However, they have basically got a green light to make the next project bigger and better. Hopefully they won't change the formula much. :)

I basically read into it as 'the future is bright for DiRT'. whether that's DLC for Rally or a bigger budget sequel. Basically, The bosses at Codemasters have realized that Paul and co were right about making DiRT Rally instead of DiRT 4, and now they have more room to breathe with it in the future
