Thanks very much for this, I enjoyed that interview and it was good to hear how well Dirt Rally has done comercially, virtually assuring us of more content in the future!

lifetime sales targets have already been met and exceeded in the 7 months of Early Access

leeway to go  Bigger and Better in the future - guys will read into that & know what it means!

Despite CodeMasters having lawyers fluent in French and Japanese, lawyers for manufacturer's are difficult and challenging, to the point where its not worth pursuing the car's anymore.  Citroen were particularly challenging, but Yves Matton was open to the use of the DS3, but the Loeb Evo link may have been a factor in not getting it.

Nothing gossipy in the interview about post DLC as I could hear. However, they have basically got a green light to make the next project bigger and better. Hopefully they won't change the formula much. :)

I basically read into it as 'the future is bright for DiRT'. whether that's DLC for Rally or a bigger budget sequel. Basically, The bosses at Codemasters have realized that Paul and co were right about making DiRT Rally instead of DiRT 4, and now they have more room to breathe with it in the future
