Quite an interesting read, shows what the guys were up to in Australia the other week. I guess they're doing a similar event in Wales at the moment, hopefully we will see some stuff coming out of it next weeks or the week after

There is some gossip there.  It seems that the future is still unknown.  As much as we all have supported the game and team, there are still bean counters involved.  However, they are there to make sure the company stays afloat and turns profit, we just hope they have some heart in DR too.  

The big reality hit for me is the mention of future EA, there is a chance that this will be the last time we could be involved in this capacity.  Again, I understand the reasoning @kickup stated.  If there is not a need to release it into EA, no need to complicate the extra work that EA involves with a release schedule and the headaches.

No matter, I really really hope that it turns out they would be able to move onto a DiRT Rally 2.  This game should not be a one-off but a model for more RALLY titles coming from Codies.     

I will probably repeat myself in the future until we have a confirmation of the future path.

Awesome, I also noticed the return of the S4 and 6R4 official liveries that aren't available in game


Edit: I notice it only mentions 'World Rallycross', does that mean we can't use the minis and S1600's in online PVP? @Hatward

You can do this on PC too, I would love this feature.

I don't know of a single PC game that has made use of the impulse triggers on an Xbox One controller, even ones which do support them on Xbox One, like Fallout 4, Project Cars, etc.
At this point, a year after they were officially released, I'm not even sure that Microsoft's PC drivers actually allow for it, saying as no one has implemented it.

While in general I don't really care that the "privileged YouTubers" gets stuff first, usually for free to that, this time... Ehh, that guy won't even know what to do with it -_-

well he is more for the american side of things but he does has close to 1,000,000 subscribers so there is your answer. just painful when often the ones who do the video or get the chances for exclusives are always the ones that cant drive in the videos being promoted :D

to be fair to him though in some drifting videos hes not bad. :)

Actually TheSLAPTrain is Canadian.

In my opinion, he probably simply crash on purpose.

They're the type to spend a lot of time into simulator truck games. I never really understood the relation between slammed cars & trailer trucks.
