Whilst we're off topic, here's mine and my dad's run of Porlock on last Saturdays Somerset Stages. Managed to set the fastest time in our class!

It tends to be necessary when you don't have much power! Our car is a near enough standard 1.4 despite being in the 1400C class

It also now has misshapen door from our ss1 incident, which in tempted to put into youtube

Yeah I've heard a few others did it. The note was '1 right into 3 opens right long, and hairpin left'. Unfortunately the 1 right and the 3 right were basically the same corner, it should really have been 1 right opens and continues. So I hadn't realized that we had passed the 1 right and were already on the 3 right when I called the hairpin. That and It was fairly deceptive which caught dad out. This is why you should go over and make changes on the afternoon run!

Not sure if this qualifies as gossip or not, but while watching a rerun of the world RX round in portugal I noticed that the need for speed logos were missing from the EKS audis. Maybe we'll be able to get them in the game/next dirt later on?

I don't think need for speed had anything to do with the reasons for the car not being in the game. I can't remember the full conversation we had with the team about it when we were there, but I remember a different issue was the main cause of the problem

And yet they write a monograph for a defaming purpose rather than an informative one about a videogame that made them miserably pathetic and obsessional. How miserable people are becoming... I am so disappointed people have become more idiotic than ever even though with the presence of libraries and labs and unis and PROPER EDUCATION.

In short, the next game will take the basis left behind from dirt rally. it may be a sequel, it may be something a bit unique and different, but it will take forward the ideas from dirt rally. There was mention of early new handling being developed that already made dirt rally look 'old school'. Paul also mentioned increased production value of the game, so I'm guessing they will get the budget to produce something with the exterior qualities of previous dirt games, such as a more detailed career, soundtracks, menus and everything else. Which is one thing that I think Dirt rally misses slightly.
