It's a 3dsmax plugin (https://www.afterworks.com/FumeFX/Overview.asp). I've spent a lot of time looking at that window, seeing the numbers tick past.

If it would stop moving I could read it. :P I'm excited for it, but I haven't really seen any real time smoke calculations, just prebaked ones. Now I'm waiting for the day where we have hardware capable of not needing to prebake smoke sims.... mmmmm... smoke... and fire....

In the FB page of DiRT they posted a MonteCarlo pic saying something that the winter is coming and get prepared for the studded tyres or something similar, maybe an update with soft snow and tyre choosing for Monte?

Well, in the current lack of other gossip, two things;

Can't wait for the next Rally game from Codies, you know they've got more sampled car sounds than ever ;)

@F2CMaDMaXX. So what did you think of your first rally event?  Also are you planning to go to Olympus?  Not sure how far away that is from you.

Pretty good, i learned a lot about what considerations i need to make for access, ie. we couldn't get to the spectator point on a double run stage i'd planed to see if we didn't make it before the first car off the line (blocked due to return road used)

Not planning on the Olympus Rally, it's a solid 3 hours for us, though not too much longer than the Oregon Trail was.....  Not sure.

I'm a bit nuts and OCD, but getting ahold of the spectator guide as early as possible and studying the map, planing your route time, studying YouTube videos of what each point looks like, etc etc.  pretty much become the insane co driver for the day, sorry @kickup no offense, but you have to plan all your times/transits to precision, almost like I do (just to watch)

Yes, whilst i probably wouldn't go that far, i do think planning a viewing point ahead of time can help.
