Perhaps. The Delta S4 and Peugeot 205 T16 were the best cars of the era in real life though, so I would still expect them to be the quickest cars in class in game.

Be nice to see the E2 get the Codemasters treatment though: a correct visual representation and the proper audio to go with it. Something that Polyphony seemingly couldn't figure out...

So I'm listening to the Absolute Rally podcast interview and there was some interesting bits. Like how the pacenotes are handled in your stage. 

They kept the majority of the dirt rally cars with model updates. And R2 was confirmed fully. 

But it was mostly the same news.

Sorry, we are focusing on Rally, Rallycross and Landrush in DiRT 4. Pikes Peak made the most sense for us as it had a dirt surface. With that gone hillclimb loses some of its relevance to the DiRT franchise. 

As much as I love Pikes Peak, I never thought of it this way and can't disagree.... stupid government making them pave it.

Since some people have made some very slightly off-topic comments now, I think I'll make my contribution to the derailing of this thread and then mention something that's somewhat related in some way shape or form.
Here goes:

So, a couple of days ago, I was discussing with someone a character with no surname by the name of Jason, who I randomly called Jason Todd, and then I thought, "hold on a sec, that name sounds bair familiar". The next morning, while drinking tea, I suddenly clocked: Jason Todd is (the) Robin (who becomes the Red) Hood (read American Murderous Robin Hood).

What does this have to do with anything?
Well, it's just a tale I wanted to share, and one that just so happens to include an escape made in what I believe was the Subaru Focus Evo XImpreza S1 E22B WRX STimpressive Quattro Roulette.

a save replay of best runs would be great like in many car games. if you record regular like i do for instance you have to record all the time.with just a save replay or playback of that run it would save so much effort.

assetto has it.rbr had it. would be nice if dirt 4 does.or could add it.

Azoresst. I don't tweet but  is there any chance @sound_fx  Dave Sullivan could look at my post on page 723 and comment on getting some good & loud engine sound reverb in outside views when the car is belting through the forest & hills ? I think it would be a great enhancement and add some soul to the whole experience.  Those that have enjoyed it it real life will know what I mean.
