Hey @KickUp I have a legit question  about licenses, regarding WRX: are you working to get the EKS audi s1 inside the game? It's exclusion from dirt rally was a bit a disappointment for me, but I guess it was due to the sponsorship EKS team had in 2015 with NFS series, so are we getting mister Mattias Ekstrom in Dirt 4?

It is nothing to do with the Need for Speed sponsorship. There are some significant complications to how the vehicle is licensed though.

With Scorpio arriving significantly after our release we are not in a position to confirm anything yet. If we do stuff it will be based around the higher performance stuff that PC players enjoy.

On a different, less silly note - how many cars are still questionable licensing wise for now? And why are the Crosskart/buggy/truck classes only going to have 1 vehicle each (most likely) ?

I remember once on Absolute rally that he said that Ford/BMW was the easiest one because they pretty much only had to fill out a form. The situation could have changed for this game though.

I can't answer the first bit for obvious reasons.

To your less silly note. I can't tell you specifics of where we are with our agreements but for the most part we are finalising them wherever possible.

The reason we only have a single vehicle in those classes is because when dealing with silhouette formulas (or classes that are essentially silhouette formulas) the differences between the vehicles do not justify the expense of modelling a new body shell. To phrase it another way, which would have the greater impact, three different bodied Pro 4 trucks with essentially the same chassis underneath or three different Rally cars?

@KickUp As you may recall, one of the voice nicknames in Dirt 2 was "Fuzzynuts." The Fuzzynuts option was disappointingly absent from future Dirt games. Will this crucially important feature be making a return in Dirt 4?

Sadly Fuzzynuts is a thing of the past.
