When it comes to stage length, I wonder if loading time is one of the issues that prevents the stage from being longer? I've read somewhere that Sony/Microsoft have certain guidelines for this.

Well it was already better than battlefield load times when we played it in November, although beating that probably isn't too hard!

Witcher 3 would have a word with you on that subject xD That thing has massive loading times, even on a PC xD

I found it ok to be honest, Battlefield 1 on my PS4 took a lot longer than W3 on PC :P

Although who remembers back in the day the GTA VC and SA loading bars taking forever? I installed SA on my SSD a while back and it loaded in about 10 seconds...

Grand Theft Auto V, you could finish a long stage before that thing loads (I'm not exaggerating)

Pfffft. I remember waiting for tapes to load on the Vic 20. 25 minutes of squealing noise and the bloody thing still failed...

Hmmm... yeah, lots of words, pretty pictures, and one of the worst ideas I've ever heard.
Working with electric motors a fair amount, they're not a great sound. The whole track would either be the sound of a cat fart or a high pitched whine.

Yeah, the absence of sound is what concerns me most @JZStudios. The technology seems very appropriate for rallycross but (to me anyway) ,a significant portion of the spectacle of rallycross comes from sound, especially in the case of the Supercars.

Electric Supercars would likely be as quick, but I don't think it will be as spectacular without the pops, bangs and turbo flutter.

I'm with you on that one. Rally cars should make noise - the louder the better, not buzz around like insects in heat.

Will there be a randomizer button for both cars and locations and weather in custom championship or in single stage?

I somtimes has a problem to chose car and locations in DR

Will there be a single rally/stage mode outside of the career where you can race any car in the game, like DiRT Rally, or will you have to grind through the career to unlock cars? Am thinking of classic cars in particular here.

Exactly. The sound of a rally car is something special. As an example the Escort fanatics we have on this forum who share their memories about the sound of a BDA echoing in the forests back in 70's... I just can't imagine that in future people are telling stories about how someone's electric rally car was hissing in a forest  :|

To be embedding electronics and electrical features to motorsport, it is always greedy business with fallacious so called "developing technologies for the better" claims for it is a huge spoil on genuine motorsport to become a consumed object gaining no fun from it... Surely, we will be missing the genuine sounds of petrol cars and the musicality that arouses us as rally fans.
