Yes! We have loooooooooads of differents words/names/descriptors pre-populated, that we can use to name each stage. It works off identifying what's included in the stage (if it's by a lake, or a farm, or a town), length ('sprint', etc) and a few other different factors. It's almost as impressive as the Your Stage tech itself. ;)

What I don't get is how people waste so much of their time hating on other people. If you don't actually like the guy that's fine, just step away, but spending good amounts of time just to insult and hate is what makes internet such a crappy place.

Agreed! After spending almost a week with Slap, it's really quite disheartening to see people tear into him on various different comments threads across the internet. He's a great guy (super humble!), got a genuine love of the DiRT games, and he was so excited to get capturing and start making videos on what he'd seen. I know he might not be to everyone's tastes, but... people are just so mean!!!

You get one team identity that gets rolled out across all your cars via the Branding Suite. Each car uses slight variants on each pattern so that they work with the shape of the cars.

Hmm on a side note: I did see your team was able to get the new DS3 WRX licensed which is a great addition. Any plans to add a more classic rally car like the Citroën DS to the lineup as well?

I can share that we won't be shipping with a Photomode. It is one of those things that we'd want to do properly and there simply isnt enough time to get a polished photomode in game without losing something more important.

We haven't made any plans about DLC yet as we want to see what the reaction to the game is like once we release in June. We do intend to keep supporting it but what form that support takes is yetr to be decided.

The soundtrack will appear in the menus, loading, the service area (over the radio) and then in replays.

Thank you very much for the clear answer. I have to admit that I am a bit dissappointed since I enjoy the photomode a lot but what I understand from your answer is that it is quite a challenging task to get it implemented correctly in Dirt4. I simply have to live without it ;) Still looking very much forward to what Dirt4 is going to bring  :)

@KickUp Last question though.....Have replays improved over the ones of Dirt Rally and is it possible to see only the tv-style replay without switching back to the car itself?

@KickUp Not a game related question but we know you co-drive, have you done much actual rally driving yourself? Can we also expect to see your Dirt 3 Livery for the Impreza that was in DR to return? It was my favourite behind McRaes!

The ISRTV guys stated replays were the same as in DR when I asked them. I'm not sure that's completely accurate though as it's been stated we have different options this time.

Yeah thats a good idea, i've done the Phil Price day and the Higgins Rally School (which I got from you guys from the Gadget show!) and both were brilliant fun, I got withdrawal afterwards. Good luck with your BARS!

They couldn't remember tracks/cars so I don't really believe in what they've told - I rather believe what was written here by KickUp.

What I'm interested about when it comes to online RX, is will we be able to have a race of 6 people, not 2 races of 4?

It's quite silly when the 5th player comes into a lobby and then the race changes to one with 3 people and one with 2 people. It should divide players when it goes above 6 IMO. Or give an option when creating a lobby to limit it to only 6 people (or bump the limit up to 12 from 8).

And I really glad that all footage I saw was from a standard PS4. I remember SLRE dev said it's impossible to get more than 30 fps on PS4 hardware, lol.

They don't have the optimization skill that Codies have. Imo, Codies are one of the best, making the games run very smooth.

As long as the replay cameras are good!  You guys put so much effort into the details and sounds, without good replay cameras (and variety) we can miss them.

Goes to show that with some effort, you can get a beautiful looking game that runs great. Witcher 3 is another one that got it right. All racing games should target 60fps, 30fps on a racing sim is just nasty if you want to make those reactive movements
