Trees and trackside objects don't cast shadows on console? :open_mouth: Even my humble 750M can handle night lighting on high in DR with no performance hit. Those shadows make night driving look so real. :love:

Thanks for pointing this out I didnt notice  :D Looking forward to my MasterRace version soon, because as you said it makes it look even more real with proper shadows. I still think this looks good though!

Back to the handling. Here is the movie Im talking yesterday : 



On first gameplay (Fiesta R5 Joyride) handling looks very good, very realistic. Car looks heavy and grip i much lower. I think this is full simulation handling. This videos with subaru Impreza wor 2001 looks like on gamer handling ;)

Best way is to judge for yourself in 8 day's time!

I once (very briefly) chased an Impreza through a rally stage after it had been off and rejoined the road behind us, then very quickly overtook, giving kind of like a real life chase cam! They threw it into a tight corner and I couldn't believe how much grip 4wd gave them! They soon disappeared into the distance, however 4 corners later and we found them spun out blocking the stage, which was a tad annoying. Unfortunately my go pro had run out of battery so I don't have a video of the incident!

Tarmac handling looks similar to Dirt, car just floats around with lack of grip. But whatever I didn't expect it to be realistic, will still be fun tho :]

Yeah, vanilla RBR was not great with  tarmac. I mean it was decent, but not anywhere loose stuff they did. I really hope Dirt 4 will replace RBR, it's an old game with a lot of shortcomings. I can't wait to do my first stage on the 9th :)

Well RBRB was way better on tarmac because it had clear distinction between when you have really good grip and when you suddenly loose it. Here it just always slides around.
