I'm curious as to why VR has now been supported, but proper triple screen is still missing.

Because no "no proper triple screen support, no buy" campaign has been launched.

I would love to have it and I suggested it during our beta, but I guess it would be quite alot of work to implement it and they haven't seen enough demand.

May i ask @PJTierney is there chance we will get some DLC as not part of season 3 and 4? like for example Codies have good relationship with Ryan Champion, is there chance for putting his Ford Puma, as kit car, and Lancer evo9 or the Lancer 2005 model? it would fit perfectly for F2 and up to 2000ccm class.. i will support you anyway with season 3 and 4 pass, but season 4 with rx content is nothing for me.. so i hope for miracle, and extra content for loyal supporters :)

Unfortunately it's not a case of asking who owns the car, more who built the car and who's advertised on it.  However, i wouldn't put it past Codies to release some DLC not yet announced...

Although it competed in 2001, like the Focus, Impreza and 206 WRC cars, the Evo VI was built to an entirely different set of regulations - it was the last of the Group A cars, of course. It's abundantely clear that the Group A and World Rally Car 2000cc classes are sorted by their respective regulation set, as is every other class that isn't called "H(number)". Hence I understand Codies putting the Evo VI (which was first competing in 1999) into the Group A class and not the World Rally Car 2000cc class.

Yes, but some other cars are also not in the correct class... f.e. the Stratos. Also in the 90's the WRC and Group A cars already were fighting against each other.

Maybe the best adjustment would be to change the
- Group A to a 90's class (Group A and 90's WRC's): Evo 6 being replaced by something else to have 4 cars
- Than have a millenial class: Group A EVO 6 and early 00's "Rally" cars (206, Impreza, Focus) = 4 cars
- 2000cc class: with the mid and late 00's "Rally" cars (Impreza, C4, Focus, Skoda) =  4 cars

Stratos is in the correct class as far as I'm concerned. Since we don't travel time as soon as we pick an older class, we drive the cars in the modern day and the cars are placed in their H-class based on power-to-weight.

Pretty sure his Evo IX is Group N, not a WRCar. It would be outclassed by the other cars in 2000cc.

I think it might be converted to Grp A actually?

That rings a bell: it definitely isn't at the same level as the WRCars though!

Group N would fit in the NR4 class I imagine, seeing as NR4 is basically Group N with a couple of bonus alphanumeric characters as far as I know

I have been waiting for Both of these locations a long time now.  They are my favorites from DiRT Rally, and look superb in those screen shots.  Even though I have always disliked the color filters done in DR1, I will miss the warm yellow/pink hue of Greece.  It did seem to give the feeling of the hot sun beating on you, none the less I like the new.

- Buying Season 3 twice for Rally content, skipping Season 4 because all RX - still supporting Codies either way 🙂

That is why I will never use EVO X... 🙂 even though it is faster than Impreza.

Think that has to do with the respective car they modeled after. Some old chatter about that since DR1.

Despite the Evo VI being in the right class due to regulations. It did however compete in the WRC class as well, because it was part of that era where Group A's and the new WRC class could be competing together, mixed. And that should be properly represented in DiRT Rally 2.0 at least in Clubs. We could pick the cars in DR1 leagues, so i hope this features transits as well to DR2 Clubs. The main reason for people, including me, asking for the Evo 6 in DR1 was to pair it the Focus and Impreza 2001. Now with the 206 coming, it'd make it 4 amazing cars for an amazing manufacturers season.

Still praying for the 2001 Xsara, or any Xsara at all being WRC 2000cc regulated. Not really interested in the F2 version.

PS: Not enough kudos were given to CM from me for bringing the 206 WRC. So here's so more kudos ❤️ it's a load of fresh air (no more loafs :classic_biggrin: ).

I like the silver painting better, with the red total, in the second picture. Hope they unlock the liveries at some point.

Also, it seems Codies managed to source a 206 WRC for sound recording. So I can't wait to see how it looks and how it sounds in-game. I bet it's going to be awesome.
