0:37 there is a 3d map from argentina and nothing new, it is El Condor-Copina, but the map the dev is working is the reversed version, Copina-El Condor, maybe we can confirm reversed stages :think emoji:

Well, I thought that was never in doubt... After all, reversing the stage is an effective and economical way to get more miles to race on in the game, and given that DR2.0 is back to handcrafted stages, it was pretty much obvious... And even WRC ran El Condor the opposite way this year

Yea they reversed stages in DR too so I imagine that's pretty standard. I hope we get double the unique stage miles we had in DR though to get the variety that each location presents within each event. Should be achievable.

Criterion have been doing a lot of work with Dice on Star Wars: Battlefront 1 and 2 as well as Battlefield 5 (and maybe Battlefield 1?) so they're quite busy with that stuff.

@JZStudios just because it's not realistic or full on arcade doesn't mean the physsics are broken :P You might not like the feel of it but the simcade games are made that way on purpose, it's not done by accident or because they're broken. Whether that is a good idea or not is a different question but unles the cars fall through the ground or get launched into the stratosphere I wouldn't say they're broken ;)

I agree, but we're talking about The Crew here. If those physics aren't broken, then it's a super piss poor design.

I remember playing NFS 3 a long time ago and it would let you reverse the track AND mirror it. Reversing it and mirroring it always fucked me up. XD CM could do that... it's kind of like "Oh this is familiar, it's a left" and then you just slam into a tree.

I thought Blue Moon was an American Belgian style beer with hints of orange peel? It’s the best beer/thing to come out of America!

@RallyDriven lol thats generally referred to as a woman's beer over here!

Funny thing about beer, I used to think that Europe where the only ones that could produce an authentic good beer, now days there are so many micro-breweries around, there are very, very few imported beers that I like.  There are over 6000 breweries now in the US and the big ones like Budweiser a declining in sales.

I’m paying for you to come over to a beer festival in England and try some of our real ales!

Arundel Sussex Gold- will never forged how good it was.

Press F to pay respects.

Are IPA's (Indian Pale Ale) popular over there?  Here, its the latest craze it seems.  I like some of them, I mostly drink alone, so I'm not out to impress by having one.

Reasonably, some like Green King are. By the way you’ve got until midnight tomorrow night to organise your flight, after that you will not get hold of me as I will be in America, 1899, riding around on my horse and blasting cowboys with sawn-off shotguns

I just have to share this gem I found on Youtube - a full 20 minute stage with Sebastien Loeb himself. With a rather rare camera angle too; at least the amount of times I've seen it can be counted on one hand. Much better than the crap they give us today:

I’m hoping the horse handling has been improved from the last game. Also hoping my G920 is supported as they haven’t put out a list of supported wheels and saddles yet

Dunno really, imo the field of view is too small in this one. The current has been pretty bad for many years if you want to see the driver and wheel, but it's gotten better in some of the cars. Ogier has had a proper camera positition for most of the year.

I definitely prefer the Loeb one over the one you linked, personally... though of course this one remains the best. Both occupants visible, clear view of the road:

The Ogier one was more to point out that they've gotten better. I still prefer late 90's and early 00's style.

Worth to point out in the Loeb video is how much FOV actually matters when it comes to how you perceive the road. Usually the roads in Monte looks extremely narrow, but with a narrower FOV the roads looks much wider.

I think this is pretty much the perfect onboard cam placement for me. You see the wheel but still very much of the road. Well you don't actually see much in this because shitty over exposed picture, but you get my point  :D
A bonus is the raw pure sound that is not picked up through the co-driver intercom but actually just from the interior.

#NoMotionRigNoBuy Can't play horse riding game without the seat moving. Breaks immersion.

Fortunately for me I live on a farm and we have horses, so I might take one inside and use that as my rig

Hopefully they have properly modeled shoe wear this time: I really want to see my horse understeering on those long rides.

Sorry guys but this is the best onboard from any kind of sport ever. One of the best drivers ever, absolutely pushing to the max, bidding to win his home rally trying to claim his second title. This onboard I will never tire of watching. It’s absolutely mesemerising.

It's hard to argue with that choice: even after multiple views it is still absolutely jaw dropping to watch.

All this time Seb Loeb has Secretly been posing as Porkhammer and this finally proves it.  He wants to watch himself over and over again.
