Rallystu2 659 Posted November 13, 2018 I think if they can get the license for the RGT then they can get the license for the older 911. And it would be a wasted opportunity not to use it. I'd be more excited to drive the old 911 than the RGT personally. And I cant imagine they sound the same.

I don't think they'd dare use an old 911 sound for a modern RGT car with you waiting in the wings pal. If it's genuine that Codies are there then I think it's relatively safe to assume more Porsche content. Here's hoping.Car list looks to be shaping up really well. Hopefully there's more 'leaks' to keep us busy
Madhun1967 32 Posted November 13, 2018 Has to be for older Porsche .The new one is used all over Spain and Europe so subject for the modern versions sound recording shouldnt be that hard to seek out

I REALLY hope that particular car makes the cut: would be a natural successor to the Focus RS RX.

ShodanCat 230 Posted November 14, 2018 If there really is going to be a classic 911, with bespoke custom recorded sound set... well this may just be my ultimate driving sim.
F2CMaDMaXX 397 Posted November 14, 2018 Lots of cars have their own genuine recordings, having this 911 in game would mean a very cool, pretty rare Group B Porsche, loving it :)Looks like the *very* car being recorded here.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6tgTpD8ZSQ
Guest Posted November 14, 2018 Some footage of Hayden Paddon driving a BDA (it should be similar to the Escort in DR2) in New Zealand. Its a nice comparison to the latest Dirt show.Looking at this, the handling seems remarkably similar to real life, and way beyond Dirt Rally or 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqx9cH_r9ig
Guest Posted November 14, 2018 And I think Paddon actually won this event, beating the times of even 4wd cars. WRC drivers are crazy.

Fast chambered roads with open lush hillsides. The stage Codies opted for is more inside forest areas it seems?

Would be cool to have some more open roads rather than more coastal roads. But what we’ve seen so far looks pretty fun!My dad was talking about doing the silver fern rally at some point in the future. I doubt it will happen but it would be amazing to do! Also got the Roger Albert Clark rally next year to look forward to!

I think they are using the same approach as in DR, model one 20-30km stage that is divided up in 2 "long" stages in the game that is there after reversed and cut up to divide into more stages. The fact that everything is the same stage/area isn't really ideal for diversity within the same location. This is speculation on my part, but we haven't really seen/heard anything else so it's a fair assumption. KingOfCoins 239 Posted November 14, 2018 I hope they go for the Greece model instead. Where the two stages were quite different and didn't feel they were connected. Wales did the same to some extent.

Although both were excellent (hoping they make their way to DR2 eventually).
VirtuaIceMan 52 Posted November 14, 2018 Would it be nice to have a super-long stage using the entire route, if it is broken into parts, as well as smaller bits?

Rallystu2 659 Posted November 14, 2018 I would hope for double unique stage miles. I mean DR was an experiment. This is a fully fledged release and they came under a bit of fire for limited stages. I can only imagine the would've listened to that
