The community test was for D:R, It was the last update that went out, we test them before Codies release them to the public incase it causes your wheels to fall off, or your pc to explode, or some other catastrophy.

"The vehicle in the pack that I’d like to discuss is the 911 Carrera S. I found it interesting that as soon as I hit a kink at over 100 km/h, the car decided it didn’t feel like turning, and went straight off the track. Completely dumbfounded, I actually went through the process of remapping my controls, only to discover it was actually how Kunos Simulazioni believed this car should drive. This is easily the worst car in the pack; you can slam all your inputs together at once like a confused toddler placed in daddy’s sim rig, and it still won’t matter – it’s as if Kunos just wanted a car you could flick with a control stick and not die, and as a wheel user what happens is that the car feels like a lazy mess – which takes no talent to drive."

I actually did a comparison of the Porsche 911 Carrera S, some might have missed because it is not listed on youtube.

Pretend Race Cars seem to know a lot about Simulation... nope...

Soo... why not talk about that in Bears Happy Place? And based on the very limited sample of videos I've seen the Porsches do seem to have an unusual amount of understeer.

245 ... what? Big number comes out of whats left. Unless stretched hint at at least two 2004 and 2005 cars being in the game.
Or worse yet, only the first, third, sixth, seventh, eight, ninth and tenth rally games are shown in the pic.

THE NUMBERS, WHAT DO THEY MEEEAAAN?
They aren't even trying to make this difficult now, this one is obvious: 245 in hex is 581 in decimal. 8 - 5 + 1 = 4

4 is the magic number.

DiRT 4 CONFIRMED
. (again)

On the subject of kebabs, my sister and her boyfriend were down visiting at the weekend.  After a few too many drinks he bought a kebab (I got a burger).  Ate about two bites and then went to bed.  Money well spent.

Good planning that man: that means his breakfast kebab (minus two bites) is sitting there waiting for him as soon as he wakes up.

He couldn't stomach the kebab the next morning, so we went for a traditional fry up instead.

I also got a burger before ascending my local mountain. Which was infuriating since people seem to believe if they do more than 25-30mph they'll fly off the mountain and die. Going downhill was even better, because I put my car in neutral and coast down. Then you get stuck behind people doing 20 the entire 40 miles down, grinding they're brakes the entire way. I had to pull off and could smell my brakes cooking.

I highly recommend *never* using neutral to descend, harder on brakes and youll use more fuel (not to mention vehicle's attitude will be off)

You can never go wrong with getting food whilst drunk! I was once drunk in a casino and was so exited about winning £5 on roulette I ran out and blew it all on chicken. Best decision Ever!

With a lack of gossip, I'm wondering what workd rally cars we will get in the next game? Wonder what if they will manage to get any of next years world rally cars, considering last time Citroen weren't playing ball on the ds3, Toyota just weren't playing ball at all, and the fiesta was a few years old, plus there's no Polo?

Wise investment @RallyDriven. If I ever win the lottery I plan to spend it all on RS200's and fried chicken.

Not when I don't need the brakes. None of the corners are that harsh, and engine braking kills my car. Why would neutral use more fuel? How is it possibly harder than riding the brakes for 40 miles? Even with engine braking, I'd still have to ride the brakes.

Assuming fuel injection; on over run it executes fuel cut off (essentially) in neutral it obviously supplying idle amounts if fuel.
How does engine braking kill your car?

Never ride brakes, esp downhill, should be used after, or in conjunction with engine braking if possible, and  braking should  be intentional applications, not a constant use.

I couldn't really tell you honestly. I've got something wrong with (Pretty sure) the exhaust, so engine braking and driving at low revs (under 2k) cause it to act up and bog down.
And I don't want to ride my brakes, but other people force me to. The last 5 or so miles down the mountain didn't have any parking pulloffs, so unless I just wanted to stop in the middle of the road...
Though some people are good about seeing someone come up behind them and pull off to let them pass.

That sucks:(

Whilst i dont particularly want to get into a diag session, engine braking  gives a heavy vacuum state, with you mentioning idle issues as well (related) i woukd start there with the vacuum system.
