I'm not even seeing where you guys are finding this.
If you go to your profile, you'll see it at the top, under your name and above your reactions: "Visits 1,379".

I have only 225, so I added a video to reward the few who visit.

Wow, that's shocking. I've got 2450 visits. 2450! Who the hell is checking my profile? Why? What are they looking for?
It could be to take a better look at bigger profile pics. I've added to a few people's visit counts by doing that.

Maybe I should put this in the car thread, but a random question to debate for Sunday:

We know there will be mixed class rallies in D4, but what classes will be mixed together into one 'event'?

Will all 'modern' and 'historic' classes be grouped together? Will it be more refined and true to life/era?

I'm sure R2, RN4 and R5 will be together, although personally I hope those classes run separate to the 'up to 2000cc' and Group A classes. If they are separate, do you put F2 alongside Group A or the 2000cc category?

Do the H1-3 run in the same events? If so, do they run in the same event as Group B?

Well in real life you would most likely have all classes in one rally. Or you might have a historic rally separate and a modern rally separate with R class cars like the BRC

I really like that there is a modern entry class with R2's this time.
There's also the other historic fwd rally class with a couple of cars like the Peugeot 205

It will be Event dependant but historics will be kept apart from modern stuff.

@KickUp Just a quick question: can we do custom championships/events in the career mode to earn credits like in DiRT Rally?

Side note. I'm watching a national championship event right now. A 4km rally sprint.

The FWD class is mixed with some R2 cars, some group 4 Volvos, Corollas and one Escort MK2. Elias Lundberg that is high up the leaderboards in DR is competing with an R2 Peugeot and is doing well.

The 4WD class contains a couple of GrpN Mitsubishis, an S2000 Fabia, former Swedish Rally winner Mats Jonsson in a Fabia WRC, one R5 Fiesta. Fastest so far is a 2003 Focus WRC though.

Not in the career. That was born out of DiRT Rally's career being very light. This will be more extensive.

Can't wait to find out more - honestly was.t that excited from the original press release and trailer, but the more questions you answer the more intrigued I get.

I know it's unlikely, but are you able to say when the next 'information release' is planned/embargoed for? No worries if not, have a good weekend!

OT: anyone here going to Rally Sweden this week?

@KickUp A few questions about the livery creator:

1- How far into career must we progress in order to gain access to it?
2- What will be able to play with in the livery creator? I already read numbers and designs.
3- We will, obviously, by what we've been told, going to have to unlock sponsors. But what about designs and colors, will all those be available from the start, kind of like SLRE?
4- Will we be able to take our personal livery and select it in Freeplay?
5- How far do the door numbers go?
Would also like to know this. (Just told my daughter about new rally game coming in summer and she wanted to know can she design our livery too!)

On Xbox, the Kontinjarvi record for Grp B & R4 are only a few seconds difference.  Shouldn't be the case

The Grp B would be simulated to be among the lightest cars in the game, the R4 simulated to be heaviest.

Weight in the simulation seems to act purely or mainly as a vertical force only, returning to centre too readily across all cars.
The greater weight of the R4 Evo pulling it in a downward direction, means it has abundant usable grip which makes it easy to drive, but far too fast/grippy at speed.  Gigi Galli would be bored with a D:R Evo X :P

As the Grp B car is lighter, with less gravitational grip, the lateral forces (g force) have a greater influence on the cars behaviour and the car moves around in a more natural realistic way.  The tyre model works well with the Group B weight.  Brake lock ups mean understeer, punching the throttle mid corner means big oversteer & that's accurate

Mechanical grip is increased in a heavier car but that shouldn't make it faster in the real world.
My guess is that lateral (g) force needs a multiplier that increases to the value of simulated weight, causing larger lateral forces in heavier cars which can then overcome the greater vertical grip they produce

R4's should be easier to drive, but because of the greater lateral forces with the additional weight, Steering inputs on gravel should feel muted & indirect especially on wide open throttle or heavy braking.  Grip loss should happen earlier, be more progressive & slower and more adjustable by transferring weight.

Group B should feel mental & kinda do on the slower sections, but 125mph Quattro power-slides should be there to be tamed...

:)

1) as far as it will take to buy your first car. We haven't fully worked out the economy yet but we expect that to be in the first hour or so.
2) Design Templates, Colours, Numbers and Sponsor placements.
3) Undecided. Likely to all be available
4) Yes, but it will be your car not the livery you are choosing
5) I don't know off the top of my head but I'd imagine it's triple digit.

Thank you once more. So, on point 4, if we want to use our personal livery, we'll have to use cars we've bought on career, correct?

Will the carreer be similar to GRID in the sense that to gain money at the start you play as a hire driver for other teams? Will there be objectives from the driver offers and the sponsors alike?

Say I have a question regarding Rally ending charshes @KickUp
When you grash badly enough can you manually retire or will the game automaticly retire for you like in Dirt Rally?

It would be kinda cool that the damage of the car during the rally affects your economy, so if you have little money you need to be really careful with the car

Nice discussion about Dirt 4. I agree with the majority of concerns they have. @KickUp they ask for an interview at 48:00

You can always manually retire.
If you cause enough damage terminal damage will occur.
