Yeah we should just accept that Codies has changed to Valve time.
We are currently bound to the will of people who are in a different time zone, alas! Will keep you all updated, but we might have to shuffle to later this week.
*Prepares gossip mode* I'm not sure if you can reveal it but, which timezone are we talking about?
Well if it was someone in the East (i.e. Europe) they would have been at work for most of the day already, so I think it's most likely the US, as they will only just be getting going now...

...unless it's the far East, in which case they would have been heading home when we started work here in the UK. Hang on, that must be it. The different time zone is Japan: TOYOTA DLC CONFIRMED.
She did not say "BECAUSE" they are is different time zone. She simply said
it was about the "WILL" of people. (who happens to live in another time zone..)
If it was about time zones, she would have said "tomorrow", and not "later this week".
So my understanding is that someone who live in another timezone are being
difficult.
Toyota double-confirmed!
LOL

They posted on Twitter about Colin Mcrae 2 with "New arcade mode". Do you think that could be the thing they are going to release? A new and improved arcade mode for Dirt 4? That would be awesome.

This hype train is going to derail. Not wanting to be pessimistic, but the chance of new content being discussed in this Road Book should be no more than 5%, I say. They've been too busy to work properly on DiRT 4.
I don't know about exact percentages, but I do think think that the chance of getting a DLC announcement this week are slim...

...but there is no harm in hoping!

If i am understand right, from this  https://www.facebook.com/CodemastersMalaysia/photos/a.934321150024604.1073741830.474222292701161/1136423076481076/?type=3&theater
this was post in 7. March . so it was almost already late for Vanila game, so we can expect  that DLC Content will be made by Codemasters team in Malasya? that is why we have different time zone..
ps : they did search  For Senior And Experienced Artists For Our Vehicle And Environment Teams

A Malaysia pack perhaps?  A Malaysia Yourstage location + the new Proton Iriz R5?

And have it released on the same day the Proton R5 makes it homologated debut

That or maybe the s2000 proton together with the 207 and punto s2000 from dirt 3

That would be cool

Damn, I would love if they could start a project a support it for several years ahead and release new classes and countries along the way.

Oh, and Racenet is down for maintenance!

new zealand dlc is legit!
Oh God. What have I done? Apologies, should have been clearer - the people in other timezones are first-party related!

EDIT: either way - we are all go for today. :)

Meanwhile there haven't been any changes to the devtest branch for 9 days (https://steamdb.info/app/421020/history/)  seems like there is a stable build ready for release

If you like I can change the devtest branch, I have been using other branches/console work recently.

Well if you could merge it to the public branch that would be sweet haha.

Didn't http://www.dirt4game.com use to be a page on its own instead of redirecting to the codemasters website?

Definitely clubs/leagues website update.

Redirected with 302 to Codemasters page for maintenance (temporary redirect which doesn't affect search engines - this is for things like this).

e: Keeping fingers crossed for a successful deployment.

Awesome, didn't look into it that closely.

Behaves pretty much as the PC2 RX when you accidently go out on track with the circuit setup. No bite on the gravel at all.

• Brutal AI difficulty is no longer tied to Fearless preset

Hurrah! General improvements to AI across the board as well. I wonder if that balances the AI times when you use certain cars?

Yup!  That is one of the key fixes of that part.

Jus quickly had a go at setting up my old dirt rally League on my phone (Michaels League for any PS4 and PC players) and that’s a very good and easy to use tool!

So the clubs patch is finally here, half a year after release. Can't say I'm not a bit dissapointed by the lack of additional tweaks to the game, so I am probably not even going to install it again, maybe if leagues really get going and the car classes that don't feel super weird are preferred by people.

Pretty much the only item on the "fixes" list that I am interested in is this: -Tuning setups can now be used with lower skill rated teams

How does that translate to the skill of your own engineer? Is he going to refuse to set up my car in a hissy fit because I came in second against someone faster than me online? And how is that going to work in leagues?

EDIT: oh I forgot to ask, is there still no workshop support for setups?

To say something positive, I just looked around the features offered in Leagues and apparently you can restrict palyers to interior cameras, if this really works this is a great plus, I just hope it is not like in MP lobbies/pro tour, where the setting doesn't make a difference.
