LOL, I'm such an expert cryptographer  ;D

Okay, fun fact in return. The cheat code for CMR2.0 "TURNONTHEICE" was a secret I originally added to the game as two samples that played on loop, a normal one for the interior, and one with a filter so you could just hear the bass for external views. The sample I originally used was from the immortal tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-ng7rl5pzM&feature=youtu.be&t=1m7s

They don't make music like that anymore...

Things we haven’t used:

“left 90”

“13”

Second half of “/HlxyY.FgEvjo2”

“Monday & Tuesday: Appointment
Wednesday to Friday: 6PM to 4AM
Saturday & Sunday: 6PM to 6AM”
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but 6PM to 4PM is a New Zealand nod since 64 is the country code when using the telephone. So yes, it's been used  B)

I suspect that left 90 and 13 are cipher info. I assume the 13 means it's rot13 somewhere. Left 90... not sure. Left shift 90 maybe, but seems a bit weird.

It seems we won't be able to crack the telephone number code without another hint.
What are we looking for here? a name? a date?
All the info you need was in the auto reply email :)

1pm this Monday or the one after, trust me, DiRT Legends will be announced then.

Steady on @RallyDriven, you are starting to sound a bit like @CodingRacer there.
WRC 2019 will be announced really soon. I'm sure it will be ready for the start of next season, following the structure of F1 2018. Consistency is key.

Gaaaah! Coffee break is over. Been trying simple rotational ciphers on both /HlxyY.FgEvjo2 and the rot13 decode of it to no avail. And still no idea what it has to do with the phone number.

Phone number is random gibberish that I typed in. My main concern was to make sure it wouldn't work as an actual phone number, wouldn't want to subject a random innocent person to this thread  :D

Fwiw you are definitely on the right track though.

Well I feel better now: I had a proper brainstorm with the phone number and couldn't get anything: at least I know I wasn't missing something!

If New Zealand is in I will write letters proclaiming my undying love to every member of the DiRT team. That's a promise.

13 could mean a lot:
  • Also WRX/ERX/ARX have 13 events. 12 events of WRX with ERX or ARX + 1 standalone ARX event.
  • 13 could also be the 13th McRae/DiRT game: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colin_McRae_Rally
  • With the URL MrJamieLowes posted you needed to add 13 letters to get the YouTube URL
  • Bakkerud is using number 13
