Did you know that the long-time members of this thread have had a DiRTy Gossip Discord server for a while?

You do now 😉

Could be, but it put my game into no-money state aparantly.

I'm more upset by the 0 Cr issue, than by the fact I lost 2 stages of progress. Cause I can't really go forward now.

I think this maybe why the Fulvia is free to repair..... so that you never get truly stuck however low funds are.

Abandon event. I know that’s not really desirable but hopefully these teething issues will be resolved.

This wouldn't fix it I recon. Even if the Fulvia is free to repair, if I never get any new money I can never progress up. And doing only the online part doesn't yield enough to level cars up properly

Earlier I lost two stages of progress, because game thought my data was not synced with the racenet and it reset the whole championship. Now in the second run, I completed two rallies, 12 stages in total, won both and it didn't pay any money for either. -20.000 Cr for repairs. 0 Cr of profit. This way myTeam is not sustainable...

I'd really like to get some upgraded cars for the dailys/weeklys... but like this I guess I put the myTeam on hold for now. A little frustrating and immersion breaking, will stick to historic championship for now.

Isn't it great how I said that would be an issue to begin with and people argued with me?

Who's laughing now?

In completely unrelated news, since people are complaining about track count or whatever, I counted up the total mileage in DR1, DR2, Assetto Corsa base, and Project Cars 2. Vaguely interesting, but frankly useless information. DR2 does indeed technically have less mileage than DR1 though. Also, in AC I deleted the drag strip and Trento Bondone so I don't know how long those are to get a 100% accurate count. Either way DR1 and 2 have twice the mileage of AC and half the mileage of PCars 2. But no one complains about track count in AC for $50.

The Fulvia will be in your garage. You can do events with it and build up your cash 🙂

That RaceNet thing is really keeping cheaters at bay, eh?

And... here they are. So Codemasters customers are angry and Codemaster cheaters happy as always. I don't know what kind of verification the sever does (it would be helpful if they could explain it so we can make recommendations). But the always online does not add any extra layer of security apart from hanging a server even more (hence the connection problems).

I never doubted there would be problems, but having cheaters already in the game... How is a negative stage time not a discrepancy with the servers?

^ What I find really astonishing is that CM has some decent rally drivers testing their stages and cars.  So why not put in a hard limit on stage times that are obviously out of physical possibilities and send anything under that up for a rare human review?  Like you know, nobody can do a certain stage 1 or 2 minutes faster than a really good run by an experienced professional.  At least this would cut out half the BS times.

Racenet: "I'm sorry to inform you that you drove at ludicrous speed and your time has been rejected by the system."

Your time was THAT quick the algorithm decided to unvalidate it. If you want to contest the decision, please contact
