I am unable to watch that video with sound, but I am surprised Block would insult McRae: he has idolised him in the past.

Don’t worry, he didn’t; I watched the whole video and none of the things @JZStudios says happened actually did, beyond the obvious ‘Ken Block went to New Zealand’.

i dunno what people have against Block tbh, he seems like a decent guy.

Ooooh god. It is most likely the same sound guy. Good detective work indeed.

This has created some personal issues though (see below).

I'll have some serious health problems if CM doesn't release an official statement about this subject very soon.

Well the car in the background might have offered us a clue as to who was recording, but it still doesn't really prove it was CM...

...as an aside, if we do end up with an early Impreza WRCar in game and CM don't include a "No, it's NOT a 22B" trophy/achievement then it's a massive missed opportunity.

The irony of Codies not being able to licence the car as "Subaru Impreza WRC9x" and deciding to actually call it 22b as to avoid legal trouble would be IMMENSE🤣

Mr. The Block goes to New Zealand, Insults Mcrae, angers locals, shills for Ford, and ruins a charity event. I think someone died somewhere too.

Ok, so I just watched the whole thing and he shills for Ford at the beginning but not the rest. shilling for Ford to be expected really, given his long relationship with them.

angers locals? didn't see anyone angry.

insults McRae? and ruins a charity event? where? at 2:30 or so he tells a story about how he was bidding on the stage notes used by McRae's co-driver Derek Ringer in a mid-90s NZ rally, the route of which they drive near the beginning of the video. the notes were being sold at auction for a charity event, and Block explains that once he realised that he was bidding against the owner of Prodrive (David Richards) he stopped bidding to make it easier for him to win the stage notes given Richards' personal connection to McRae.

I don't really like Block either, but unless you're joking (and if you are, make it clearer next time) please don't throw someone under the bus for nothing.

That situation would balance me on a knife edge between happiness and annoyance: happiness that another Impreza WRCar made it to the game and annoyance that it has the wrong name! 😄

It's a joke against @dgeesi0 Block crashed due to malfunction and therefore he's the worlds worst driver and a terrible person, even just casually watching his co-driver burn. He didn't have a malfunction in the car with it not shifting gears and banging off the limiter, he eyeballed that rock and said "[redacted] this car!" according to dgeesy. So I just post how horrible he is and how many people he murders. It's an in-joke.

Case in point. Everyone talks like he's an awful person and the worst driver in the world despite everything pointing to the contrary. It's called irony.

I wouldn't expect outsiders to know about Kebab pizza, car washes, helicopters, water splashes, or Quetzalcoatl either.
