I understand they can't allow car modding due to licencing but, what about track modding?
Yea i find track modding more import than car modding , because balance of the game will be maintained . And of course new rally stages is more content so it is always  a plus .

Check this out! Timmy Hansen with a lil preview of cars in the RX update!

https://instagram.com/p/5g4coGBM9L/

Peugeot Hansen 208 (7 liveries)
VW Polo Rallycross in VW Marklund livery (8 liveries in total)
Ford OMSE Fiesta  (5 liveries in total)

By the way, this is the kind of rig he's playing DiRT Rally on...

Just need to see Solbergs DS3 in game now and my life will be complete!

'Legal' issues is as vague a term as 'licensing' issues.

One potential problem is that if a form of SDK or track modding/creation tools was released for DiRT Rally, it potentially opens up the possibility of them being used or reverse engineered enough to create content for other EGO engine games such as F1.
Just the possibility might get lawyers and executives frowning.

I don't want to know what image you'll use if that happens :s
I would post the image that I'll use for when that time comes, but I'm fairly sure there is a filter on forum to stop me.

I wonder which liveries are on each car? Sure their haven't been 7 different drivers in the Peugeot Hansen 208's (I can think of four), I wonder if the Albatec cars are in game as well? Grosset-Janin name was shown in one of the preview videos, so fingers crossed those cars are in as well.

Eight Polo liveries must surely mean both the Marklund and Kristoffersson Motorsport liveries? Perhaps Tanner Foust as well? Hopefully Tommy Rustad is in there as too.

Five liveries on the Fiesta: I assume the three OMSE cars and the two Stohl cars that we saw in the earlier trailer.

Road book is online: https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/blog/4881

A lot of gossip there (I think). So many new things on the new update.

And I'm glad they looked into the puncture tyres!

We’ve also added the ability to replace a punctured wheel. Now when you get a puncture you can bring the car to a stop and hold the repair puncture button. This will add a time penalty to your stage time but will mean that you can continue driving the stage without the hindrance.

There's (still) a pretty big money exploit at this point, which I told Hatward about 7 or 8 weeks ago.
In fact, it's got worse with the introduction of a fourth round.
If you just retire from every round of a Masters Championship, you'll still end up with about 80,000cr per event, so over 320,000cr in the bank in 5 minutes.
Retire from every round of Elite and you'll get another 200,000 or so.
Work you way back up to the Masters and repeat.
Since you're doing less stages, you won't have to renew engineer contracts as often either.

At this point, I actually kind  of prefer being in the Pro Championship because it's 8 stages per event, which is less tedious than the Masters since you're not repeating sectors as much.
