Promo community events and MP lobbies can help change that for you 👍

Do the community events put you on tracks you don't own? Does it let you MP on tracks you don't own? Does this game even have MP rally?

Entirely unrelated, but I just realized your rig consists of over $1000 worth of equipment, with a $50 wheel. Which I find interesting.

Yes, and yes if the host has the DLC.

And yes the rig is a little off-balanced... but the frame was bought with intent to go DD + LC pedals. Which I just hit my goal for, buying myself a new set of HE Sprints + HE shifter and the Accuforce v2. Want to save up a bit more padding so I don't fully drain the account, but planning on having all my toys before Christmas!

Let's put it this way - the RGT cars are RWD and generally have more BHP than the Group B RWD cars. If you don't have any DLC, then let's just say they have about 50-100% more power than the H3 RWD cars. You may have to redefine what is "acceptable throttle control" for this class of cars.

If you want something that I think is horrific to drive in DR2, let me point you in the direction of the MkII Escort - It's up there with the Stratos in "cars that I can't handle to save my life", the difference being that the Stratos has always been notorious as such IRL as well as in-game 😭

The new bmw it’s very stable and responsive, when you find the right setup ,even on gravel ,it’s fast as the Porsche (that have surprised me...) Imo the most important aspect of the setup it’s lower the diff. Value. To have a smoother power release.

Also in my opinion the r-gt cars need to be hard to drive...that’s a good and accurate thing

Just changing a bit the subject.

I just noticed now, that I don't have the "H2 RWD double pack". My steam says I have to pay and off course, I have the deluxe edition. Anyone with this problem?

Why I have this @PJTierney

Wasn't part of deluxe, was part of a gamestop deal if I remember correctly. All it does is put them in your career garage for free I think.

Wasn't the H2 double pack seperate from the Deluxe Edition content anyway?
Steam description makes no mention of early unlocks for the Alpine & Abarth;

Quote

Order the DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition and receive:
- Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec
- Upgraded 'My Team' starter cars [Fulvia, Corsa]
- x5 Early vehicle unlocks added to your team garage [Golf, Escort MkII, Stratos, Quattro, Impreza '95 iirc]

The DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition also includes:
DiRT Season I:
x3 tracks
x5 cars [4x 2000cc 4WD, 2x Grp B RWD]
In-Game Bonuses
High reward events

DiRT Season II:
x3 tracks
x5 cars [4x Grp B Rallycross, 2x Grp B RWD]
In-Game Bonuses
High reward events

@PJTierney shouldn't that be 6 cars in each season? Time for a store description revision 😜

I made a fun lil rallycross track on the Dirtfish Freeroam map.  Anyone got a screenshot of the loading screen so I can draw it out for y'all?

After driving the M2 a bit more yesterday I think it's clear that It's top tier in its class.

Just playing around in DirtFish I could keep the tires spinning in full hoonigan drift mode all the way through 5th gear. It was just nuts. Literally started spinning the wheels on spawn in, and was still spinning them as I entered the warehouse, 20 seconds later. The car is just an absolute beast and does whatever the hell you tell it to.

Who has the Herbie Beetle?  Haven't followed WRX in a couple of years now.

it's only been used in one event so far, unfortunately.

it has been very competitive in RB GRX (now defunct, of course) and ARX in North America, but is scarcely used in Europe.

looks good, I think.

Pontus Tidemand has been driving the "Herbie" car (with a different livery) in the European Rallycross Championship this year...

...the "Herbie" Beetle is a Per Eklund car, the Beetles used in the US are Andretti/VW Motorsport cars.
