Did you know that the long-time members of this thread have had a DiRTy Gossip Discord server for a while?

You do now¬†ūüėȬ†

Ah, but remember the videos from the first WRC game on PS2?
Those really were awesome, and done in the proper style of a WRC event.

The presentation was very slick, that was the main thing I remembered. Always loved having the globe and then zooming in on the specific location.
You could swap out video footage with in-game footage  of the standard in the official DiRT Rally trailers and it would still look pretty good imo.

So we know there will be new tutorials on the console version, I was wondering if there could be some introduction to rallycross style video?
I would love the rally location introduction videos that were in CMR 2.0. They really put you into the mood of the location more.
Nothing like the energetic enthusiasm of Nicky Grist's monotonous drone to get you pumped up for an event :P
Hey, if some people are into tentacle porn, why shouldn't that be a thing? xD

iRacing seem to be using EasyAntiCheat software to tackle the old problem.  Seems quite robust and bespoke
Outsourcing the anti-cheat measures to 3rd party developers is not uncommon. Punkbuster for example. They pay the license for it, but it's being constantly improved, while game devs can concentrate on the game instead of banning those critters.

He means well, but fighting a losing battle.  Iv never seen the leaderboards as toxic
You haven't seen much then.
Oh? Have you seen them worse?  Do you know something I don't?  Oh yeah, I forgot... Silly me! :)
I've seen leaderboards that make this one seem like a cheater free place. I never mentioned I mean only DR leaderboards -_-

I think pure patches/fixes are released as soon as they are ready (and tested), rather than to a schedule the way the EA content updates were. That was true for during EA as well. They don't have to follow a Steam schedule either.
So could be any time, though Friday/Saturday/Sunday are always unlikely.
