I feel stupid. Buy this game every year in pre-sale. And the code shows no interest in solving the bugs of this game!

can you read minds??? I am thinking the same thing, probably buying the next one in pre-sale either. Every year hoping for a change from CM, every year for nothing.....

You know what we get when so many people repeatedly hand over money for games full of issues?

...More games full of more issues.

Codies, are you reading this?
Could you at least tell the community if you're planning to release a patch, or not?
I swear that when the game came out, I promptly gave you the €70!

I understand their situation. At some point you just have to start focusing your resources on the next game for the next season. There's no money in doing free technical support. There's money in building a Mac version and a mobile version. But it's almost 2017 and it's time to move on to the next generation. Personally, I'm going back to something else. I really really wanted this game to be good. I really really wanted it to be fun.
The only thing is that they never publish a game that's actually finished. For years we've had massive patches to solve game breaking bugs after the game was released - and as it looks that will continue on and on. Sure, they should focus on 2017 now, but that does not mean that they can just leave us in the cold with the current live product. They can once 2016 is functioning as intended.

Good luck, Codies...

Other developers do have teams on the new game and teams on the current team at the same time. Not the biggest challenge i guess?!

Codemasters could have made some more money out of the game if they implemented DLCs or other features to the game. Quite disappointing that they choose this direction for the game when clearly it's not finished. Yes, the game is good, but still could be better.

Strongly agreed.  DLC's would have made them more money as opposed to a mobile game. I could understand if the mobile game was good and those who have it would go out and buy the console version but this is not he case. I've played the mobile version and was not impressed, it's pretty bad.  I'm sure people would open their wallets for a '90's DLC.

To me, paid DLC feels like a slap in the face when it's for a game that has significant unresolved issues. It sends (me) the message that sales are a much higher priority than delivering functional quality (no matter what companies often say about having separate teams for DLC).

It was infuriating when CodeMasters released at least 3 or more paid DLC options for Grid AutoSport before they ever addressed the game-ending save data bug. What good is additional content when the game itself doesn't work?

The only thing I can ASSUME (at this point, looking into SteamDB info (so basically PC version)) is that they're now working on Mac version of the game.  "Domesticated" and "local" branches show no changes to public windows branch, only a Mac ones.

Also, honestly, this silence from Codemasters is shocking me. At least something would be good, even a small update on what's happening (since we have no clue whether Codies are making a new game (IF they will be making another one), working on this one to get some update in or nothing new at all).

Half of the tracks for free, €30 for the others?
Sauber, Haas, Force India for free, €15 for additional ones?
Black helmets only, €5 for other colours?
Limited fuel per race, €0.10 extra per Liter?

Sorry, but no. DLC is the worst thing that happened to computer games.

I think the only dlc that could work for a f1 game are teams from the past and circuits from the past.
and maybe some helmet designs, but for me it doesnt matter;)
i understand the dlc's for battlefield or something but for a f1 game it hasnt that much value.
and also if i allready spend €60 for a game, i dont want to spend more for a dlc.

Add custom lobby browser to xbox one version !!!
If you can't do this, when employ some one who can...
It's not a technical issue. It's a "Microsoft has multiplayer development guidelines that don't allow it" issue, just as it was for Project Cars when they first launched. (Not sure if SMS have ever publicly explained how they managed to get around them...)

guys it takes patience, we must wait for the new year, for a new patch.
They have been very busy in creating the game for ios and Android, and rightly so.

Please tell me it was all sarcasm and a joke?!
They abandon F12015 way to soon, brought up a unfinished F12016 game, attached some patches and moved on to some mobile games. Rumours tell us that CM is working on a MAC version ATM. Rumours because they leave us in the dark for a few weeks.
And above all this the game is still far from finished, the probably are working on the 2017 game........

where is the patch? I don't think we'll ever get one. My mate phoned Codemasters earlier today & they said that they have no plans for any further patches for f1 2016

Waiting for some information a novelty. This game needs a final patch to fix the discovered bugs. Especially of the tire expense when starting with the hardest tire.

Let's complain and ask. Enough of being silent.

Don't forget. Codemasters are still in the "Stealth-Mode". Don't expect anything from them... I mean it's funny. We are talking all the time about game problems and the deveplovers are reading all these comments. But they never answer! Reason: They've the money they wanted. They don't care if the game has glitches. Codemasters want only money. Well F1 2016 is an awesome game, but still has problems! It's sad if they are ALWAYS in stealth mode. Terrible. I think they'll never understand what a "Community" means. Honestly!
